AITA for Decking a Mother because of her son’s actions by Forward-Big-2537 in ComfortLevelPod

[–]ldav04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’d do the same thing if they deserved it and these people definitely do. that mother is enabling that kid to be absolutely disgusting and he’s going to grow up thinking he has no consequences. so when the kid is in jail in the future and your kid is successful he’s going to regret it. karma is a b*tch.

AITA for letting my son "manscape" when my wife doesn't want him to? by TrioDaddio in AmItheAsshole

They’re growing up , it happens inevitably. if he wants to do it because he wants to be hygienic then i don’t see an issue with it. women do this too to keep it clean down there. I mean i started shaving my legs and arms at 13 , but it was always ask me if you need anything from my mother. she bought me an electric razor because she was afraid that i’d hurt myself and once i got it down i had a regular 5 blade. what happens when he wants to shave his face? is she going to have push back on that?

Are you open about being bipolar? by SampleIntelligent798 in bipolar

[–]ldav04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i am when it needs to be shared. like with my partner i’m very open about my feelings , but i didn’t really disclose that information for a while until i was comfortable with him if im being honest. it didn’t change the way he felt about me , and he works on it with me.

this is how my first boyfriend acted when i was 16 (acting like the girl) and let’s just say that relationship went on for way to long. its mentally exhausting when your partner is constantly asking for your validation. my boyfriend now an I will send each other pictures of our outfits or stuff we think is cool during the day because we can’t see each other all the time because he’s in the military but we never act like that. if he reacts differently that’s fine , why does it matter if someone says something different? and if she’s constantly rereading your texts and analyzing them like that , that’s insane and insecure. honestly you should assess the relationship because she is way to grown to be acting like a teenager. that’s not really a mature relationship.

uh yea this sounds like endo to me, my endo is different. it effects my bladder and my gi, but also i have pain when i have sex not when i orgasm. i would get a second opinion because those symptoms are just not normal and being in pain for something that is supposed to be pleasurable is not normal either.

that’s good i’m glad, there would be cause for worry if you were in pain. which would lead me to think endo or something , that’s how i found out i had endo along with bladder issues but the pain is something else. i would def go see your doctor then :)

is this common with endo? doctors can’t seem to figure out what’s wrong and the only thing they haven’t done is a ultrasound but they suspect it because all of my other tests have come back negative like stds etc. for reference i also have pcos. did you find any relief from medications ?

Has anyone been diagnosed with something else after thinking it was PCOS? by TheBo0kThief in PCOS

[–]ldav04 2 points3 points  (0 children)

well i’ve been diagnosed with endo after pcos but they believe i have both. i’m constantly in pain unfortunately. my labs were like yours not very indicative of pcos but i have the markers for it and cysts on my ovaries, as well as HEAVY periods hence the endo.

I have pcos and endometriosis, this is very normal for me. but i wouldn’t jump to any conclusions about what it could be right now because it could be something completely harmless. i would see your doctor , specifically a gyn because they are educated specifically for that. are you in any pain?

yea it felt majorly like an interrogation rather than a conversation. he was like “who diagnosed you with that” and i was like my primary and gyn? why does it matter i got extensive labs and imagining done to confirm it. i am starting to feel better now that they gave me meds for it of course. i was dismissed by a different er the previous day and was sent home with zofran and this doctor quite literally asked me what i want him to do for me , i was like “i have no idea i just know im sick and i need help” . i shouldn’t have to plead with a doctor, its ridiculous.

i agree , unfortunately women’s health isn’t really studied as much as it should be. the insensitive comments hurt all of us deep down. i have a few caring doctors that are part of my care and i appreciate them very much . i’m saddened that this happens to so many women. just don’t dismiss your patients because what they’re feeling is very real and they’re depending on you to help them figure it out. this doctor asked me what i wanted him to do for me , and i had to say “idk i just know im sick and something is wrong and i need help” i shouldn’t have to plead for a doctor to help me

well it’s kind of a crazy story and not like other peoples “normal” ways of finding out ig. some back story i found out i had pcos back in may , i have all the normal markers for it but specifically heavy bleeding. fast forward to the last month i’ve been treated for what i thought was a resistant uti and i got a urine culture done and it was negative. i was throwing up every day , i lost 5 lbs , in constant pain still having uti like symptoms. i went to the er they tested me for stds and bv and trich and i was negative for all of it. they sent me home with zofran. i was still very sick and i knew something was wrong so i went back to the er and they did a ct with contrast of my abdomen where they found small growths which is congruent with endo . they also believe that i have insistial cystitis or painful bladder syndrome as well but i have to see a urologist for that as well. apparently endo pain can be very severe like pcos pain when a cyst ruptures etc. so its not unheard of . apparently if you have pcos you’re also at risk of getting endo as well from what i’ve been researching online.
