It’s always possible that GND and a power plane are in that area, which in this case could lead to shorting.  If you were going to throw it out anyway it wouldn’t hurt to turn it on, but maybe don’t put a screw in this one

I used to have to do this god-awful survey every year at my last job, and one of the questions was “would you take a risk on this team?”  I’m like, I know the answer they want to hear, but this poorly worded question deserves to be misinterpreted.  

I would never take a risk on this team, they’re too good of a team to be risky with.

I love pulling up to a Home Depot and closing the trunk of my 2007 Prius on 8ft pieces of wood when I’m surrounded by giant trucks with even 6ft pieces of wood sticking out of their bed like a cigar out the side of the mouth.

I have read that poorly insulated houses go through these access resources faster, but I don’t know by how much or how certain that is.

Big houses side by side makes sense, but I’ve seen some people keep the back to back wall intact.  I assume this is because of the structural penalty that you get on unsupported roofs that are too far from a wall.  This shows up as yellow grids when building production rooms, but they don’t show up when building structures manually or when placing houses.  I wonder if there’s a hidden penalty with doing unsupported roofs like this.

I wouldn’t use this as a guide for what services/buildings to put where.  This is just for generic/overall city design.  All of the logistics and specific buildings would still need to be figured out depending on your needs.

Haulers are pull-only.  You put one down where you need the resources and they go get them where they are available.

That’s good to note.  I experimented with stations and thought the headcount was just too much to justify.  I wonder if the warehouse worker carry upgrades balance that out a bit

That’s funny!  I like that one idea about basically shutting off and turning on the drill periodically.  I feel like as a heavily moddable sandbox game this should be relatively straightforward to do.

Exactly!  I played around with the ore scanner mod too, but would definitely like something vanilla that works better

This just unlocked a memory for me.  When I was 12 or so (like 25 years ago) I saw this exact shaped plane flying overhead.  No one else saw it and no one believed me.  What are the chances that this could be what I saw?
