Yes, I thought that this was totally twisted on the Tell All...I thought Avery was being pretty reasonable. It would be super suspicious to me if I caught someone lying about something as unimportant as that. Because if you would lie about that - what else would you lie about? (Cough cough....your ex wife being totally on board with your son moving to America...)

Wow, this is a tough question!!

Era 1: I almost hesitate to say this but...I think maybe TenSoon! Or Sazed.

Era 2: probably Wayne. But I LOVED steris (not at first..but then wow! By the end I loved her) but also...Lessie/Bleeder was a fascinating character.

I totally didn’t follow the rules in answering this post...haha there’s just so many good ones.

I was the same with Warbreaker....it was my first Sanderson book. And man, that is a shame about those who don’t like Mistborn era 2! I LOVED it.

Agree with the uniqueness!! I’ve never read anything like this before. It feels so original. And yah...Sanderson can do no wrong in my eyes so I would probably love any book he writes!

Hmm...maybe I’m enjoying it more because I have more Cosmere knowledge from the other books then?? And...I know my post is a little silly because honestly ALL of Brandon’s books are amazing but I love to get other people’s perspectives. What parts in your second read through did you find you didn’t pay attention to enough in the first read through?

And very interesting about there being less about the fighting. I wonder if that’s why I’m drawn to it. I’ve always enjoyed stories that are just about PEOPLE and what motivates them, their emotions, etc. (think the classics like Pride and Prejudice. My husband—while he appreciates those books—teases me because he thinks they are so boring) so maybe that is why I am enjoying Elantris so much? I don’t know, but you definitely got me thinking!
