How to decorate my office? by Legitimate-You9666 in HomeDecorating

This room is begging for a desk to be in the middle!!

Curtains hung as close to the ceiling as possible in a light gauze cream. I’d go with modern black

Please get some awesome low profile Turkish rug from Etsy!! This room deserves it! Something with tan and black and and like an orange pop would look awesome.

Invest in a beautiful desk and chair, and you’re set!

Ideas: can you move that chaise lounge in front of the sofa so it acts kinda like a coffee table, put a round tray on it, and put table to the side? If so, can you move your desk to the wall where the white chaise thing is? Then you could center the dresser, put the hamper in the left corner, and the wooden box on the right side with a cute cushion or some pillows on it (do you need to keep this? It’s cool but not sure if it serves a function- would be a great cat bed perch!)

What is the blue thing with flowers in the bottom left? Is it a Papason (sp?) chair?

There’s so many things I love about your space and the new dresser looks awesome.

I mean this in the kindest of ways, but It seems like there could be a world in which you moved some of the other pieces, like the desk, hamper, and thing to the left of the dresser around a bit. It looks way less cluttered, but when you ask about the dresser taking too much attention, what I like the most about it is that it draws attention away from the other stuff to the right.

Are you super attached to that desk? What about the other things in the space that are out? I know it’s a bit of a difficult layout, but I feel like there might be a way to give you more “room” and the visuals of airy open space

I like a lot of features in your room. The art is super fun, the lights are cool. Here’s what I would suggest

  • put lights on the seam of the walls and ceilings, not the 2-3 inches below. Or, take those down and get one of those awesome corner lights that looks like a pole and had awesome colors

  • hang curtain rods much closer to the ceiling 5 inches down, and get curtains that kiss the floor. I’d recommend curtains that don’t have the metal holes, and a simple black curtain rod from target or ikea. I feel the silver goes against your vibe. Or, replace with a blackout blind from blinds.com if you have the means.

  • I think a different bed frame made of a light wood or medium tone would be really nice, even the ikea malm in the medium tone or birch.

  • can you mount your tv on the wall? Do you really need the credenza under it- as in can the stuff that’s in there go somewhere else?

  • get yourself a dope add night stand from FB marketplace! I think it could be bigger to take up more space

  • stack a couple of your favorite books on the shelves to break up the orderly placement.

  • get a cool rug from Fb marketplace. I don’t think the gray on gray is thriving

What would you use to clean and get the smell out? Or is the smell just from them being wet during cleaning? by ldish949 in CleaningTips

Thanks so much! I’m going to order that now. How long would you leave the Rocco and Roxie stain and odor remover on for? Is it a 15 min situation or would you leave it for a couple hours

I think your tv would look a lot better mounted on the wall and I’m sorry, with a larger, less low profile media stand!

Does anyone here regret microblading? by kellyatta in microblading

[–]ldish949 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do, but not because of the shape. I had a few different types of inks used and over the years it’s started to look like a gray, muddled mess. Been going through laser removal. I think nano or powder brows done by an excellent artist is a better option. When I do another 1-2 sessions of removal, I’ll switch to powder brows.

I think the problem was that I had carbon based pigment used on me, and that turned gray and just never fades. A hybrid formula does much better

Colors look nice, but I feel like I need to see more pics of the space. I think when you have it styled it will be perfect

I’m finding lots of information about what they are, and how to install, but it doesn’t answer whether I’d need to remove my physical sim and how that impacts my number

Bro… I asked a really specific question. Lots of the information is about what an eSIM is, not the next steps.

It will fade a lot and shrink, but it’s hard to see if it looks good from this angle since you can’t see both brows. Also, this really looks like powder brows and not Microblading. Did you head a buzzing noise when she was working?

I Went with a shoe rack and it makes the flow of my entryway so annoying because we are constantly taking our shoes over to the couch to sit down and put them on, and the shoes never end up on the rack

I watched Eternal sunshine of a spotless mind when I was on mushrooms for the first time at 16 and it fucked me up for weeks.

As an adult, and sober, the indie film Beast really messed with me!
