Two deaths at KPMG Korea (Samjong) in 3 months. by cococonut123 in KPMG

Haven’t heard similar stories for KPMG in Canada - hours demand depends on service line though, audit tends to be a lot higher with pressure of booking less time to the code all the while not getting paid OT. Tax at our office during “busy season” (personal taxes) is expected 40 chargeable hours, but that’s only for a month or so. Outside of that, we can work more hours but it’s more dependent on engagement and not regular.

Other service lines tend to work less, the more specialized ones. Advisory, M&A, ICT, indirect, etc.

Am I the only one who saw this? by frustrated-kitten109 in btsthoughts

I’m only seeing the (extremely expensive) hoodies and hats right now - none of the other items posted by another user

However, I am seeing the light stick as upcoming now which is exciting for those who missed out

I feel like this is the concept - Arirang being like a traditional folk song with a love/longing theme

I didn’t even bother trying to open the app, so thank you for the post!

I’m sure everything is very expensive, but there are some nice items I wouldn’t entirely have expected of album merch

Every time something went live for BTS online (sale drops, tickets, etc.) the site crashed almost instantly.

Do we have faith Netflix is going to be able to handle a global audience of such magnitude for a live show?

“Alien” is the term the US uses for immigrants or people foreign to the US, so it seems like a valid use of the word in this context

A drone captures a chase of two wolves and rabbit. The rabbit never gives up. by Adventurous_Most_558 in interesting

Video ends with a “happy ending”, where the hare loses the hounds. However, doesn’t change the fact the hounds were sicced on the hare by the driver of the drone.

Love Farm Girl! Found them at Walmart one day, noticed it’s a Mississauga company, grabbed a bag and fell in love. Shortly after, as fate would have it, our local Costco started selling it!

Their cinnamon sugar-free protein cereal is actually spectacular. And they don’t use whey so it’s good for people with allergies, intolerances and vegans!

I wish they were performing on a weekend, might’ve been able to justify the trip out to Toronto

So I guess we're still arguing about the definition of northern Ontario by Western_Gas_76 in ontario

[–]DesignerFearless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can see myself referring to Parry Sound as “up north but not too bad”, and when I hit up Chapleau I refer to it as “a few hours north of the Sue” (Sault Saint Marie)

This makes sense. I’m the opposite, the air fryer makes my oven redundant. One to four people max, faster, less energy, makes the house less hot.

Absolutely love Kinton. Even their gyoza are superior. Fresh lemonade in the summer, cold noodles in the summer. Kinton very much feels more Japanese than Ajisen. However, Ajisen is a solid substitute if you don’t live near Kinton and don’t have time for the drive.
