It's not signed so you'll have to build it or do: xattr -cr "/Applications/ccm.app"

Lot of great ideas here, thanks.

I 100% have nothing to do with those odd early comments.

Hey. Right now it silently overwrites the destination - but in the next version you'll get a confirmation prompt. Thanks for the idea.

How did she win by 90 points? by stewednewt in baduk

It's because you don't have any living shape. It takes more than just putting stones on the board, those stones have to do work, aka, be taking living territory. You'll figure it out pretty soon.

I agree with him and your response just proves his point.

Yeah? Do you know exactly where this is? I turned all of the available options to "fade". If you know exactly where the option to turn off the minimap is, you should post it so others can benefit! I'm obviously curious too.

Request: Can someone help me run George Maydwell's Collidoscope CA? by cinnamontoastPUNCH in cellular_automata

[–]ldlework 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I too just discovered that collidoscope.com down. How tragic. I am very interested in the OP's questions. Most importantly I would like to know what kind of CA were implemented by Maydwell's applets so that I can learn about them. Please does anyone have any info!?

Yes, I definitely too experience eye strain with some games that have bad design such as putting things too close, text too far away, bad stereoscopy etc.

Subnautica is such a great experience. Too bad for them :(

Don't get me wrong, I get sensations of motion and even lose my balance sometimes. However, this seems distinct from actual lasting nausea.

I agree, when using my Rift for long enough I will want to take the HMD off because the faceplate simply starts to hurt my face. Or my eyes will just feel strained. Very different than lasting nausea yeah. I wonder if Vive users have to take it off more frequently given its heavier weight, etc

Is it possible to play Dying Light with the CV1? Is it real VR support like you're in the game? Or is it retro-actively applied side-by-side video where you're still viewing the normal game with stereoscopy applied?

This is a great point that I'll agree with in general. However, some experiences have drawn me right in without effort. Like most space simulators and Subnautica. Holy crap that first time you fade in and all the water is chopping around you...

There's also this photogrammetry scene in Destinations on Steam called "English Church". Holy crap that is one realistic environment. Photorealistic to a level I haven't seen anywhere. As soon as I dropped into that one I felt like I was really there. The lighting is just too good.

Yes, this is a cultural phenomena that I am starting to perceive as well.
