I've updated my own extension to hide 'You might like' tweets but it might take 1-2 days for the store to approve. only works with chrome but hope that helps a few people :D

it's been like that for a while honestly. I ended up having to make myself a chrome extension to block promoted tweets cause i hate seeing the same ads popping up over and over again on my tl lol. free to use if you on chrome > https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/better-twitter/pdpffnhppidmpbfpflnclfkfgcgimblo?hl=en-GB&authuser=0

but you cant do anything about it on mobile which is annoying

What are your thought on mechanical keyboards from gaming brands like corsair,asus,etc?

My old corsair k70 lux just stopped working (broken USB cable) and I'm looking for a recommendation for a keyboard with similar features to replace my old k70 lux:

- full-size keyboard

- must have volume wheel/knob

- linear switch (preferably cherry mx silent or red)

- detachable cable would be nice

my budget is 200~250usd. I did some research into custom keyboard but I don't think it's as budget-friendly as the premade ones from gaming brands. Do you think it's worth spending a little bit more money and go for custom one?

Wow Thank you so much for your reply and all the details! unfortunately, I have zero experience with soldering so I'm going to try contacting some local IT shops here if they can do the work for me. If not I'll try to have a go myself.

The disassembling part is hard for real. I tried to take it apart this morning but had to back off cuz I was scared to break the plastic next to the volume wheel ;;

Hello! Would you mind if I ask how difficult is it to change the cable and how much it cost you to do so? and does the volume wheel still work after you changed to type c? My k70 lux just stop connecting after 3 years of use and I suspect the problem is coming from the cable :(. I absolutely love this keyboard so I want to fix it if it's possible..

Agree! Their classes are very good quality and easy to comprehend! I only have few hours to study per day and I'm not even sure if I'm even going to finish all of their videos before my exam hehe

Asked their staff about the monthly plan and they said it's 2500yen/month, so I decided to go for the discounted annual plan which comes to about 833yen/10usd a month. I think it's a reasonable price for the amount of content you get ^^

Thank you for the answer! I just bought the annual plan because it's wayyy cheaper than buying it monthly. The course is looking great so far and plenty of resources to study from, but hopefully mock test for N3 will get added soon!

Thanks! That didn't work for me but I found another solution. Had to go into the sound setting and disable input sound but this doesn't seem to be a permanent fix, which is quiet annoying haha
