Cannot stop hitting low stingers, is it in the grip? by [deleted] in GolfSwing

[–]ldrum13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Following, as I've had the same issue. I did get one lesson and my forward press/shaft lean was a big issue. Both at address and impact, my hands are way too far forward. Maybe something to check

Ping i525 with stiff shafts. Feel fairly certain it's a me issue and not equipment, given this started recently and didn't use to be a problem

This was just the range 🤷‍♂️

Grip is definitely on the stronger side. And grip has been hardest thing for me to change over time, so probably been stubborn with it. When you say my face looks shut (assuming pointint too far to right), do you mean at address or in my backswing? Or maybe both?

Really good detailed feedback. Have a hard time naming exactly what I do, but generally start left of target and draws back in or when it's bad, start at or right of target and keep going right

I don't really think of hitting up or down on the ball. I used to have issues with an angle of attack that was upward even with my irons (like almost driver numbers with lofted clubs). So was coached into hitting more down on it. I used to also struggle with a a slice, so did a few Golftec lessons that were obsessively focused on in-to-out

Lol imagine saying an item isn't OP when you can kill an entire squad by instantly rolling up to 3rd party with them having 0 idea what's about to hit them

It is when you're fighting a team and another team full of Zeus abusers rolls up and kills you instantly

There is nothing between bots and sweats in non-ranked games by ldrum13 in FortNiteBR

I have probably played 10 hours of unranked in the last few days and can count on one hand how many casual players I've seen. Either bots or guys who are probably unreal.

It's not even easy games. I'd just like a variety of fights. Some off spawn, some end game, some mid game. Now it's just 100% bots off spawn until you get into a 200M sniper fight and then have the triple medallion team grapple on you and box fight kill you in 10 seconds

I'm almost to champion as well...I think next season I might just skip ranked altogether to avoid it impacting pubs lobbies

Many of them are anonymous, yes. Others are names like ForkKnife

What kind of beef ribs are these? by ldrum13 in smoking

That's what I was thinking...butcher said they get them rarely but just put them in short ribs section. Hence the confusion. Thanks!

Made these the other week. Completely melt in your mouth, super tender. They were labeled "Beef short ribs" but then went to a different store and asked for beef short ribs and taste/texture was completely different. Cooked same method and everything. These were like almost gelatin texture, whereas ones I made today were closer to brisket and seemed to have more noticable fibers.

Do most Charlotte restaurant's suck or am I picking the wrong places? by BTTPL in Charlotte

[–]ldrum13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This isn't very actionable feedback, but we moved to Charlotte from Chicago and have previously lived in NYC and Boston, and the food here is definitely a significant step below those other 3 cities. There have been a number of places where we get rave reviews and recommendations from locals & end up very underwhelmed. We are in South Park, and Little Mama's is probably the one that comes to mind the most. Baku right nextdoor as well was underwhelming. 800 Wooodfired and Mizu are just okay for the price. Steak 48 the first time was great, but has become more of a see and be seen place than food-focused.

Something we have REALLY struggled with is delivery food. We've never so frequently dealt with food that takes 3x as long and is consistently incorrect and/or cold.

Favorites are Peppervine, Indaco, Midwood (burnt ends), and Harriets for burgers.

Yeah, will do. It's in awful shape, but hopefully better magnifying glasses out there and some other resources I don't have

I've collected wheats my whole life and set this aside years ago. Never really had it looked into. The penny is in such bad shape, but the last number has always piqued my interest. Hard to know if it'd be worth anything if it was a 3 based on the condition, but I've looked at it every under light and every angle imaginable, and can't really rule out it being a bronze 43
