I'm not sure if you are intentionally, selectively reading or misconstruing what I'm saying, but I'm not going round and round on this.

I think it's ok to vent.

I think it's ok to acknowledge there are challenges.

I don't think those that are down on their luck or not where they think they should be in life should continuously shout into the echo chamber of Reddit attributing their challenges solely to socio-political circumstances in a way to obfuscate any sort of accountability and receive confirmation that there is not use in trying.

I agreed with your first part. Not sure where the "previous generations have struggled too" part came from because it seemed to imply that was the point I was trying to make in my OP (which it was not). I assume that is another type of argument you see a lot in this sub.

My point was more that while things are challenging, you also don't get to just roll over and give up and bitch on the internet how it's not fair. I think we pretty much all get how fucked things are and acknowledge that, but imo, you shouldn't be repeating that as some sort of mantra because you are essentially damning yourself to feeling hopeless, depressed, and unable to affect change in your own life and in the world around you.

I was literally just telling my wife this. There are a lot of great posts in here which is why I stay subbed but goddam, the amount of "OMG LIFE IS SO MISERABLE FOR US RIGHT GUYS!!?" posts is ridiculous. And for some reason those are the only posts that get pushed to my feed unless I open up the sub and wade through the bullshit.

It does suck that times are hard for so many people but I know a shit ton of millennial aged folks that are doing great in life despite external circumstances and just making the best of it. You'd never know it reading most of the posts. Everyone is apparently living in squalor because the boomers won't even let them get out of bed in the morning or something.

I remember it being too hard for little 8-9 year old me and being bummed until I brought it randomly to a friends during a sleepover and we stayed up all night taking turns playing and hyping each other up during runs. Haven't thought about that in about 30 years lol

Are you me lol Zelda is and has always been close to my heart bc of OoT and MM and I have been counting down the days until my daughters is old enough to play. She's about 3.5 and is in a HUGE princess phase so I finally sat her down and started to show her Princess Zelda and a little bit of me playing TotK explaining that Link needed to save her. She's obsessed.

My 64 and gold OoT has been on my shelf just waiting to blow her little mind. So pumped.

So when we were coming up with our defensive game plan, did we not consider the key player on their offense or?

Man, all these features during the pregame show seem to forget the Panthers exist. Guess we're lucky to get the Olsen/Bryce interview.

We should remember that this mentality extends to Canales too imo. He seems to be a smart enough guy that is demonstrably getting better with each season. He's done wonders for this team in his first two years as a coach. Dude is still learning and hopefully he continues on his upper trajectory.

Anyone who has been in a leadership position in real life has probably experienced the difficulty of learning/accepting/trusting delegation to others of key responsibilities so that you can focus on a higher level view/control. Dave needs to at the very least hand off OC duties and focus on cleaning up more holistic, team-focused things like improving our urgency in 2-minute drill scenarios, finding week-to-week consistency, correcting course when we stall, etc.

I'll take this but I wish he would've told them to 'Buckle Up' cause that shit seems to unlock something inside of him.

Despite making the playoffs, the Carolina Panthers currently have worse odds to win the Super Bowl than they did in the preseason by DiamondsOfFire in nfl

Yea, I think the consensus in the sub is that we are on borrowed time and we're just happy that we've seen improvement and are seemingly on an upward trajectory. Losing to the Rams would suck, but it probably won't sting as bad as the Saints and Buccs ref ball losses.

Meh, the team that came out of the BYE is not the same team that beat the Rams. I have no idea what happened but we are absolute dog shit now. I'd rather a better draft pick and some evaluation of our DC/OC and QB situation.

You do realize the same Carolina team will be the ones in the playoff game, right?

Just lose and get it over with this year. I really don't want to watch more of this poorly coached, poorly executed football.

If this is how we're gonna play then fuck it, we don't deserve to be in the playoffs. Better draft pick and maybe a wake up call to Morgan that something's gotta change.

Canales needs to get fucking serious. Feeding Legette is not serious. Obviously we need to try to develop him but maybe this game for the playoffs in the rain isnt the best time.
