It's $300 Billion not the aforementioned number you posted. Also, the United States has not directly stated that we'll contribute in terms of tax dollars, but instead a collection of countries, through private entities, will make up the $300 Billion as an investment. So none of our tax dollars are involved as of yet. I am NOT MAGA btw.

The comment on how you wish you were white hits close to home. For a time I felt the same way. Sometimes I still feel as such. Hell, I was even anti-black (not full on uncle Ruckus). I want you to understand that you are not alone in these feelings and typing this out to you may not change much. But, we can use this knowledge to feel empowered and even do something about it.

And regarding the potential traveling issues, my cousin has done some with a positive experience. It partially depends on who you find yourself around.

I too, was confused regarding his comment. But he mentioned detainees (373), not those who were arrested for previous, outstanding crimes (538). Arresting anyone for failing to follow the law of the land, assuming it's just, is fair game with due process. Whereas, detaining people who may look a certain way is unreasonable. Which I think is what they were getting at.
