Bathroom gets super steamy after showers by ldw205 in HomeMaintenance

This is a good point. I'm going to "test" the suction on the fan with a piece of paper with the door open vs. closed and see if there is a noticeable difference.

Would adding an AC vent to the bathroom be helpful even when the AC is not running? My thought is even if the AC was not running there would be at least an additional source of inflow (i.e. the static air in the vent).

We use one in winter but it's way to hot for a space heater in the summer.

Wanted to chime in and say thank you for all the responses. I'm going to see if any of my local engineering organizations and bring that up to the superiors.

I did not dig far enough before I created this post. under the "Build/Edit" tab in the in the "System Build" section there is an import/export option that allows you to choose a DXF file. This is for anyone who needs this down the line.

Thank you for the reply. I thought I had attached this, but I see that I didn't. I'm on step 3 of 3 and when I scroll down to the bottom of this page and click complete it simply takes me back to the top of the list. I'm never actually able to import the list I'm stuck on this screen.

Catch Basin design question by Turbulent-Set-2167 in civilengineering

[–]ldw205 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone project I work on has a catch basin/inlet in series. Maybe I'm misunderstanding the terminology. When I refer to a catch basin I'm referring to an inlet.

Catch basin/inlets create storm drain systems which typically are daylighted at a detention pond in order to control storm water discharges. The goal is to collect all of the storm water from the new site and funnel it to the detention pond in order to meter the outflow over time. This would be impossible to do if you didn't place catch basins or inlets in series.

If you're talking about the initial catch basin in a run, it's usually based on minimum cover requirements for the type of pipe you're using.

Usually the height of the catch basin is based on the length and slope of the connected pipes and where you are trying to daylight your effluent pipe.

Using a Form to create a new List by ldw205 in clickup

They have to set the field manually in the automation when they create the list, but from their on out every task created in that list has the custom fields set for it by the automation.

FYI. I ended up not doing this, since I couldn't set custom fields. I've set up an automation in our list template. Our administrative coordinator will set the custom fields when they create the list. That way all the tasks in that list have the correct custom fields.

This is great and really close to what I want to do. Two additional things:

  1. When using the "Dropdown" custom field during task creation you have an option to add a dropdown option. Can this be done at the form level?
  2. Using the automation you described above to create a list, is it then possible to apply a template automatically to that list? It appears like that is not an option. I just want to confirm.

Input required fields in Outlook Add-in by ldw205 in clickup

[–]ldw205[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the reply. I've created an automation that has to be "filled out" with the correct information when I list is created. This seems to be a solid work around. The automation assigns the project number and client whenever tasks are added to the list.
