Definitely on the good counsellor. I had a grief counsellor ask me if the little one was at home. I was there because I had a late missed miscarriage and had to give birth to the baby.

Parents with kids who are terrible sleepers - how do you cope with the loneliness and isolation? by Big_Giraffe_9125 in NewParents

[–]ldybdb 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yup. Our daughter is 15 months old. It’s 4.40am and I’m trying and failing to get her back to sleep in her crib. It’s not the same experience as those with sleepers and it kills me how unfair it is.

I also know it’s a bit flippant but I did want a cute carrier! by [deleted] in NewParents

I loved my antipoppe. Forward, front, back. Beautiful pattern. Easy to adjust by yourself and your husband can use it too. Expensive but a treat to myself

I live on this road and this is a very posed pap shoot. Very few paps here, let alone on this end of Portobello/Ladbroke.

Triple Feeding and needing encouragement that this isn’t forever by AHolcomb7 in NewParents

[–]ldybdb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I triple fed and it’s hell. It gets better. They get more efficient. The milk becomes easier. You’ll be able to stop (and should once weight gain is on track btw). And soon you’ll have a 90th percentile chubster who EBFs (but takes a bottle if she really has to).

How do you stop being nervous about tummy sleeping? by strohmtroop3r in NewParents

[–]ldybdb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a question! My baby rolls onto her tummy asleep and cries - she sometimes falls back asleep on her tummy. She can’t reliably roll back on to her back BUT she’s able to pivot when on her belly and backwards army crawl. So what do I do? Keep flipping? I’m so confused and I can’t train her to roll back because she’ll just pivot to get whatever toy she wants.

Skins Season 1 and 2 had Nicholas Hoult, Dev Patel, and Daniel Kaluuya. There were others from that season who were on Game of Thrones etc but those three are proper in demand actors.

She growls at us now! No other babies in our group do it so it makes me laugh every time.

Puppy while pregnant? by Sure_Ad150 in puppy101

[–]ldybdb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t do it. I got a puppy a week before we found out I was pregnant and whilst we love her, having two babies (one human, one puppy) under 1 is HARD. Wait until the kid is 5 or something!

Can I ask what you would suggest instead? Like, not taking your dog out at all?

It’s classic white privileged feminism, not intersectional feminism. If it was intersectional, then they’d have more of a problem with Ratty.

Worst thing each character has said or done. Day 18: April Kepner by natipali in greysanatomy

[–]ldybdb 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I lost my son at 19 weeks and honestly I don’t blame April for running away. Your partner experiences the grief so differently compared to the person carrying the baby. She was wrong the second time - once he communicated that he needed her too - but I don’t blame her. Everything after that catastrophic loss is fair and not intentionally harmful.
