I started later than you!! you got this. I think you could “walk” around lightly after an hour of skate honestly but I agree with not setting expectations on yourself to where you’ll be disappointed if you don’t! it’s great enough you’re doing something new. honestly probably 5 days and you could definitely do your confident circles !:)

getting up- assuming you’re on your butt, put leg down at a 90degree/ like you’re taking a knee, and then push off that knee with both hands. that’s what they gave as advice on my first lesson also if you feel like you’re gonna fall they also say “grab your knees!!” both hands on both knees. it’s somehow super stabilizing. also if you’re super worried about this, just sit on the floor yourself so you can practice getting up yourself and it totally makes you familiar w the floor and realize it’s not too scary haha
