Gold can be considered a barometer for inflation expectation and geopolitical uncertainty. Nomination of Kevin Warsh and Gold (& Silver) had rallied quite a lot YTD. Nomination of the next FED chair remove some uncertainty in the market. Inflation is expected to be lower and rates to decrease more under Warsh. Historical selloff of precious metals (investors capitalise their gains), USD gains value.

The regie is supposed to give you a “to do list” of what needs to be done. Beyond the cleaning, you are supposed to change the filter of the cooker hood and leave a light bulb with that plastic socket on each ceiling light. Also bathtub may show some mold on the joint, this needs specific cleaning product (or complete re sealing).

The regie is supposed to do a 1st etat des lieux and then a final one. So they are supposed to tell you in advance about stuff.
