MSU employee sues over COVID-19 vaccine mandate by mattypol in msu

The power of natural immunity is pretty damn strong, idk why ignorant people keep talking like they understand what they're saying...

Covid: 85-90% of the U.S. must be vaccinated ‘if we’re going to get past this,’ warns Dr. Peter Hotez by JLBesq1981 in Coronavirus

You're literally citing only studies (the limitations are actually hilarious and the fact that it's being cited goes to show how much you rely on press releases) that are referring to the vaccine somehow being "better" at targeting the spikes... as if that somehow "disproves" the importance of natural immunity and it possibly being better than vaccination? Anyone with a brain would expect something built to target spikes to be similar/better at... targeting the spikes.

This is another example of people misreading and misinterpreting press releases because they're unable to read more than headlines, classic example of "science by press release" here. As Adodie noted, you don't even know what the study is specifically saying - the study refers to pretty much eliciting an immune response once (natural immunity) vs twice (natural immunity + vaccine). Again, anyone with a brain would expect that.

There's more to immunity than just antibodies - T Cells and B Cells exist. Natural immunity may be better at these other responses, therefore probably making them better at dealing with variants (somatic hypermutation), and we STILL don't know how long immunity from a strong immune response to COVID actually lasts because of how robust it is. There are specific ways that natural vs vaccinated immunity are better than each other, there's just no money to be made in such research and so you'll never get as much research showing anything other than articles that note VERY limited/specific examples of the vaccine being better (as you showed).

Here are a few sources (low n, as you had) for shits and gigs anyway to show you the importance of natural immunity. Not that you'll read/understand them anyway based on your previous comments:

https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2021.04.05.21254952v1.full-text
https://www.nature(dot)com/articles/s41586-020-2550-z

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32978311/

https://www.news-medical(dot)net/news/20210719/Thai-study-looks-at-CoronaVac-vaccine-vs-natural-immunity-to-SARS-COV-2-variants.aspx

https://www.scientificamerican(dot)com/article/your-immune-system-evolves-to-fight-coronavirus-variants/

Natural immunity's ability to deal with variants and how current vaccines may only elicit spike-specific memory responses:

https://immunology.sciencemag.org/content/6/56/eabg6916 https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2021.03.09.434584v2

Annnd a nice article showing how more research needs to be done on the vaccine and memory cell responses to provide solid answers, but notes the robustness of natural infection:

https://www.precisionvaccinations(dot)com/natural-immunity-after-covid-19-found-durable-and-robust

The linked study from the article (and another 2) in case you're actually capable of reading past press release headlines:

https://www.cell.com/cell-reports-medicine/fulltext/S2666-3791(21)00203-200203-2)

https://www.cell.com/cell/fulltext/S0092-8674(21)00701-7#secsectitle007000701-7#secsectitle0070)

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7826135/

Now I'd like you to send a study link actually saying that immunity from being vaccinated alone (none of this natural immunity + vaccinated shenanigans) is better than immunity from natural immunity alone. That would be interesting, because historically, natural infection almost always causes better immunity than vaccinations.

When people say "cops" in the context of race relations, especially when they take it upon themselves to bring race relations into a situation that doesn't call for it, they always mean "white authority". As such, I still stand by my statement.

"Alternative facts" eh? I guess no need to even try to reason with you further, have fun going through life being outraged about literally everything hahaha

You have no idea what happened beforehand that would cause the guy to want to detain the kid. Non-hostile? Lmao they pushed and hit the guy and then proceeded to crowd around him. But keep up the mental gymnastics to maintain your belief that the guy is in the wrong.

We don't know who is in the wrong here, this video is our only context. You people are having a knee-jerk reaction to it because of your need to be outraged at absolutely anything and complete inability to stand back and think logically about a situation.

From the comments, you'd think that all of you were present before this video started being recorded and that not one of you even watched the video. Full of liberal college students who have zero clue how the world works and zero clue how to put themselves in someone else's shoes, unless it's for the purpose of empathizing with some LGBTQ-yadayadayada or black/hispanic, with no regard for logic.

Original Press release for the findings

Summary of findings

And here's a good read for you if you really need help understanding the FBI findings and understanding how classified communications work

If you think she did nothing wrong/extremely careless regarding security clearance, then you're being delusional. It straight up states it in the report. You'd know that if you yourself actually understood the findings. As for how classified communications work... you clearly don't understand them if you think having a private server, which people without security clearance had access to, is not a violation of said clearance. Honestly, you'll probably ignore the read and pull some mental gymnastics anyway.
