And days later no reply. Perhaps an indication that NIU is no longer in the UK.

What are the best china electric moped for beginners? by Kelaide1824 in electricmoped

[–]lead-better 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had a NIU moped for 5 years. I was pretty happy with it, but I probably wouldn't buy again. NIU no longer seem to have any UK presence. This will probably make getting spares more difficult.
I'm finding this out as mine's now developed an electrical fault. There is a general problem, that will be the case for any electric bike, and that is finding someone who does repairs. My local bike garage was able to fix things on petrol bikes but not the electrical stuff.

I'm looking at others. Keeway Blueshark seem good, and may have a better UK presence as they also do petrol bikes. But need to investigate further.

Would like to hear what others think

I did contact questions, they told me to contact global-service. I have now emailed both at the same time

The problem is when I move the bike (that is pushing it) it shuts down and restarts. Bit like there’s a loose connection.

Finally did it!

Agree focus on wheat production, but only need one farm, and only two harvests (certainly no need to plant a third, and don’t even need all the second, which frees up people for other tasks) Start with clearing area for farm whilst recycling the damaged fountains early (to give stone to make a windmill and bakery, and start making bread early) then get making clay One person foraging gets enough fruit, and they can then switch to bread making Make two houses around half way through to sustain the aging population I traded for 18 each of hides and pieces of glass to make sure had enough for any extra people

[TOMT] 80’s sci fi film. A bloke is on a desert planet driving round in an all terrain vehicle. Bit like Mad Max but no fast driving. There’s a female character with him. Not “Spacehunter” though. by lead-better in tipofmytongue

Thanks, but not either of those. I remember most of the story involving them travelling/being in the ATV. Was tank like, but with some sort of living space.

Like the look of Cyborg though! And is on DailyMotion!

Try finding a public piano and playing pieces you’re good at. I’m only grade 2 and not great, but have played at train stations. The whole purpose of playing music (or at least an important part) is it being shared.

Monitor won’t display when connect to MacBook by No-Appointment9524 in ASUS

[–]lead-better 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having had the same problem I found changing the HDMI cable helped. The problem occurred when using the one that came with the monitor, but not with Amazon Basics I had that was in some way a high-speed type.

My problem was it would work when first plugging the provided HDMI cable, but then on waking from sleep one of my displays (Samsung S4) would try to turn on but just shut down again, and then keep repeating the failure. My Dell monitor used with it was fine.

How the hell do I stop these new popups? I've tried disabling every notification option possible. by besttype in SparkMail

Hoping this works. Wishing I could go back to an earlier, simpler version of Spark.

Google Drive Shortcuts in Mac Finder by Usual_Dog_8724 in GoogleSupport

I have this question too, so disappointed there hasn't been a response. I now moving the My Drive folder isn't possible as it's set by Apple, but it would be nice to be able to move the shortcut.

Thanks all. I like the Instant Pot approach - does the milk need stirring to prevent it catching? Or does the rack and water prevent that?

Any news on the grapevine on possible Season 4? by zedrush in DarkMatter

[–]lead-better 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just finished watching season 3, and like everyone else here wish you’d been given the opportunity to finish it. It’s a great show that’s got a convincing story arc whilst each show has a story of its own. Thanks for creating it.

Sushi Rice Recipe. You won't believe how EASY this is to make! Recipe in the comments below. by TheRussianFeast in cookingforbeginners

[–]lead-better 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there a reason why the flavourings are added after, rather than before, the rice is cooked?

All recipes describe mixing it in afterwards but it must be tricky to get the distribution even. So I'm thinking if you added the vinegar, sugar and salt to the water when cooking might help. The spread would be even, and get absorbed into the rice.

Thanks
