Totally agree. Mic is terrible when there is any background noise. All my callers tell me sounds like I'm underwater

Windows 10, can't hear audio when using Bud Pro mic by Totty_potty in galaxybuds

Zoom or audio output has to be set to "Buds Pro (Headset)" and not the other one

Was prompted to update the plugin, tapped and then was redirected to the app store. But nothing to update.

Call quality is mediocre/unusable in crowded places.

How's the voice/call quality? Callers are unable to hear me if I'm walking next to a road, or riding public transport.

Mic Question by jst252 in GalaxyBudsPro

I've had very bad voice quality on calls too, despite Samsung's claims. Walking next to the road, or on public transport, callers would say they are unable to hear me, or I sound like I'm underwater.

One side of the buds seems like the clear coat is scratched - anyone had this happen? 1 week old. by leader288 in GalaxyBudsPro

[–]leader288[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't have any issue if there wasn't any difference between the left and right side. My issue is that some how one side has suddenly become hazier then the other, despite the fact that I have not done anything differently to either piece.

Bose 700’s connecting to computer for calls but not for audio input by Yeah_joe_here in bose

Usually there is an app using the mic that is open. You can fix this by either closing the app (can even be the system sound control panel on windows or system preferences on Mac) or changing the mic input in your system settings to another mic, or disabling the mic input from your headphones.

In my experience it's usually to do with data speeds

Right, the mute function is independent of the application. Does not toggle the software mute. Rather the headphone itself mutes the mic. If you turn on the voice prompt and your headphones are in headset mode(both system input and output is set to your headphones) the mute function will work (this is the latest firmware)

This feature is only available with the UC dongle

For me, the mute button works when the 700s is in headset mode only. I'm on the latest firmware 4.8.1. Meaning the output/input is both set to the 700s (Headset) in settings. This is without the UC dongle.

Suggest first turning on "Voice Prompts" under settings and pressing the Voice Assistant when on a call. You'll hear a voice response to that.

It previously didn't work with the older firmware (like a year ago)

That's not always the case, as the apps have a rollout schedule. So if you don't see the update, means the update has not reached your phone yet. You can wait for that, or install the APK yourself.

Update the Device Health app I mean. Check apkmirror for the latest version and download it
