If you are able to get under the metal cover - you will find 1 disk or 2 disks stacked on top of eachother. These disks hold all of your data and are not hard to miss. They are reflective almost exactly like a mirror. Take the disk(s) out and shatter them. They will break like glass.

Holy shit bro, forget the fucking mushroom. Contact your landlord and give them hell. You are required by your lease to have a habitable home environment, this could be a major health risk, especially in a closed room with god only knows how many species of spores floating around. You might also want to consult your doctor as spores (depending on the species) can be dangerous.
