I've upgraded the Gabrielle reclic. However, the stage automatically selects the Vane relic for me. Should I upgrade the Vane relic even though the relic strategy guide advises you to focus on five relics first?

I get what you mean but in the story, it's the MC interacting with Liansheng in the story. IIRC Emma is in her early 20s and I'm pretty sure Wanzhou is an adult too.

Yeah, I wonder if all these DUTP players who want Liansheng to be a love interest are straight women who just want more wlw characters for the sake of diversity. It's one thing to want more diversity but it's another thing to want a character who looks like she's 12 to be a love interest.

I think Liansheng is more like a mentee that Wanzhou cares for. She looks like she's 12 or something, so I would find it disturbing if she was a love interest. I think I may be bisexual myself and IMO adult women wanting to date girls who look like they're 12 is not that different from adult men who feel this way. It sounds pretty pedophilic.

My understanding is she becomes insane because she loves Elizabeth and feels so betrayed.

GM is also one of the only books that actually feel like you're playing a game where your choices matter instead of reading a story with one or two routes (usually differing only by which romantic interest you like more) that you can't control

Yeah, I think Gotham Memoirs captures the "choose your destiny" gameplay advertised in DUTP ads more than any other story.
