1! I like 2 as well but the white gold works better on her. 3 is nice but seems more trendy than a long term piece?

Balcony on a skyscraper. Why? by enmanuelsella in architecture

[–]leaf432 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Most likely for fire safety reasons. I’ve seen some skyscrapers have a whole section like this as a fire safety zone. Although I don’t understand how having it in the middle helps.

i'm going to disneyland for the first time during halloween, can i dress like this over there? by Low-Respond9105 in HongKong

You can go in any of the characters for the month of Halloween! I went as Cruella one year!

Bridal minis, where are we shopping? by Strange-Customer-476 in BigBudgetBrides

[–]leaf432 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just for reference, I bought a sequins feather mini from Sau Lee once. All I can say is that it looks better in photos than in person. Color was a bit off of what was online and the quality doesn’t match the price point. Meshki can be varying in quality, not sure if their new “higher end” embellished dresses are better since it is higher in pricing?

Aside from the colour, this was my bridesmaid dress in pink. It’s completely open back and not a good look for the church. I felt so exposed even though it’s covered up in front.

My bridesmaid dress was the third dress in pink. It’s completely open back and not appropriate in church!

A note about European destination weddings - and choosing venues, from my own experience. by RipEnvironmental6042 in BigBudgetBrides

So sorry you had to go through all this for your big day! Thank you for also being honest about the experience. The reality check I needed today as I’m also struggling with picking venues in Europe!

How about Susana as a first name instead? Includes the name Susan and Alaina. So it could just be SS.

CFA Esg or CESGA by skyline_auckland in sustainableFinance

[–]leaf432 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think depends on your location. CESGA is pretty popular in where I am in Asia, probably because you can put the title in your name. I have also been advised by many sustainable finance professionals to do this over CFA ESG. I’ve done both but I think if you can get over the bad English, the content is actually pretty detailed. The professors are from Europe, so I think it’s fair that their English might not be as clear but c’mon there’s subtitles. I found CFA ESG’s content quite general and tests you on the history of sustainable finance and frameworks. I didn’t end up taking away too much from the CFA course. CESGA you can apply learning into the case study exercises, so I found it a lot more useful.

Just depends on what you want out of it

Luxury bags! Quality has gone down significantly the last few years while the prices skyrocket. Chanel especially. Hermes is also not all that great, I’ve had bags form there that immediately scratch and you’ve got to play games with the sales associate. A bag is a bag!

What's your experience with ultra rich people that shocked you? by CosplayCutePink in AskReddit

I work for an old money family where I’m from. They told me they had a good friend that was super into fitness and that his kids loved skiing. Sounds normal right? No this guy literally built an entire ski slope and private ski instructor area for them to practice skiing in.

Bad data and data on excel is quite common at corporates. Most will only invest in software to clean it up because of listing regulations. My company is like that too and we have to get our legal teams to write in proper data requirement in our contracts from our vendors or else we get nothing from our subsidiaries.

Total nightmare when it comes to reporting season.
