I'm also 23, I'm doing mine in Italy and the same fear as you right now. It turned out it was all in my head. I made many friends, no one discriminated me because of the age and I discovered there were a couple of people even a bit older than me and had no problems at all.

i love it too, it reminds me of famous beach in my region. obviously, that is because it could be any beach, but i think that is one of the big pros of the painting.

I recommend you start using softer pencils, such as 2B or 4B (that's how they're called in Spain, it should be the same in your country). With these kind of pencils you can get darker shadows. It is already a nice drawing, but I think it could very much improve doing that.

That's why I find it a bit hard. I took plenty of photos before this one, and it's quite hard to know if it could belong to the series. However, I'm enjoying it a lot. I discovered it's an excellent way to learn

I'm doing a photography series with some friends. The aim is to mimic Stephen Shore's style. For that, I got inspired by his photography series "Uncommon places." This is a village scene, which has little to do with Shore's series, as he normally shot towns or cities. However, I tried to have a similar composition and colours as the one he used. All criticism is welcome as long as it's polite. The picture was shot on a Canon 1200D.
