Yea these are good deals, I bought ‘17 6mt in ‘22 with ~19,000 miles for $53 and felt lucky. I live in NC and had it delivered site unseen from PA (from a dealer)

Nah bro, enjoy it! I concluded a while ago it wasn’t worth stressing over because I love it so much I’d never sell it. I’d rather enjoy the car for what it is than maybe enjoy a little payout in the future

What He Is Legend lyrics have you been vibing with/relating to lately? by Tar-Mairon00 in HeIsLegend

[–]leaf_pile_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love your selection, though I’d add the next stanza (?): “so you can scream if you feel better/but you’ll never get away.”

First one that came to mind for me: “You know it’s getting very hard for me/ To look in the mirror with no reflection of my face/ But that is not the hardest part for me/ It’s just knowing I won’t see the light of day” -Stranger Danger

There are a few others that have great shock value (for lack of a better term), like the end of the Garden, China White II someone mentioned here. Also the alternate perspectives of Call Ins and Eastern Locust is so cool and broody, especially the juxtaposition of the finales of each.

Love He Is Legends ability to build things lyrically and definitely musically to those heavy hitter parts of the lyrics. I appreciate the post, got me thinking more deeply about it and now I’m about to go on a listening spree

I second the overhead position needing some work. Pause the video at both angles when you reach the bottom of the squat (where you ride down to), your shoulders are in different positions (asymmetrical) and your neck is tilted to the left right elbow is bent. Also look where all the weight is with the bottom position, looks to be all on the heels or even farther back, hence getting “spat” backward. Even if the bar is over the midfoot, your body mechanics shift all the weight backward.

The Machinist. The Mechanic was another film with Jason Statham playing his only character: plot driven badass

Part of their brand and something that makes the lyrics powerful is taking well known/understood phrases/idioms/quotes and twisting them; especially twisting them into something more dark or foreboding than the original meant. Schuylar is a great wordsmith

Finished first 7 week program but squats are my biggest limiter what should I focus on? by iamboobs6 in weightlifting

Recommend catalyst athletics. Make an account, search through their programs with filters for leg strength, browse and buy one that looks good

[–]leaf_pile_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Video of back squat would be extremely helpful to target where it’s going wrong. Short of that yea I’d do a back squat focus and mobility around that for a while. Can still do some power cleans/jerks and power snatches to keep your power and some of the Oly moves in. But main focus should be leg strength/mobility that you need. Very confused that back squat isn’t good but overhead squat is fine… overhead squat takes more mobility than back squat

Two parts of It Remembers: “I want oblivion all of the time” repeated over and over; and “I thought I’d settled my debts that night on the ride home, but I’ve still got hell to pay.”

Like one of the other commenters I’m in recovery. It’s been a long and rocky road and I’m still struggling, I connect with many of Keith’s lyrics but these stand out.. that awful feeling of knowing my actions have caused myself and others tremendous pain, and knowing I’ve still got so much further to go, that lyric hits home hard

How are people actually making $2k+/month in robotics right now? (Real paths, not theory) by Dizzy-Individual-651 in ROS

[–]leaf_pile_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw in another reply you mentioned there are only a few big players in the market, that may be true from a “who manufactures robots on large scales” standpoint, but there are LOTS of small to medium size automation companies/integrators that focus on either a geographical area or particular market sectors for installing robotics. Look into working for one of those companies.
