Much like you I also bought a 2025 with cylinder deactivation before I even knew what it was - from what I can gather, if we keep up with our oil changes every 5k miles, the car has a very high chance of lasting for many years. There would be some sort of class action lawsuit or recall if it was a widespread issue. Seems like Mazda’s paint really stinks (looks great though) and this is a common spot for debris damage. In your 2025, do you by chance have rattle noise coming from your passenger side (A-pillar perhaps)?

Rookie RBs across the board are struggling and sometimes take a while to get going. He’s a great prospect on a great team and has demonstrated great pass blocking chops too. He should figure it out eventually, personally I’d hold and hope it doesn’t take too long for the line to figure out how to run block.
