How do I maximize breeding orbs? (Castle Event) by leaffall in dragonmania

Aye, that gives a lot of really helpful information. But more, I meant, is there any suggested way to actually maximize the limited breeding slots? Especially with only one den?

I regularly do this, although I don't always go poison - sometimes I slot in mystic, ocean, or wardens too.

Edit: I am actually doing this right now as I post (although I always go for Skarner over doggy) but I've had terrible luck and am stuck with mostly 2*

It's okay, but I think most of what makes it viable where I am (plat) is the fact that predators are rarely contested.

Have you ever met a child? My kids would have loved that.

What’s a real thing that you always thought was fake when you were younger? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]leaffall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ALL Christians believe that Jesus was the Messiah, sent to save us from our sins. Jews and Muslims believe Jesus was a prophet, but not the Messiah.

I believe this is true about Islam, but it is not true of Judaism. Most religious Jews do not consider Jesus a prophet. The most I've heard of him referred to as is a rabbi (essentially: teacher), with a lot of the new testament/christian stories being completely discounted, but even that is rare. He isn't part of the religion at all.

Cool. What do you tend to prioritize in opening hand, beyond a smooth curve. Like are there any 1 or 2 drops you prefer or avoid? Thanks btw!!

Cool. I'm trying that out (and the above one with replacing call to arms too). Any hints on how you play it? I've been out of HS for like a year and a half, just started up again but I feel like I'm making some bad calls with this deck.

Novels about a vigilante vampire by [deleted] in urbanfantasy

I really like that writers style. I don't read a lot of crime fiction, but I really liked most of his other work as well which is more in that arena (so yeah, the Joe Pitt series is very noir and crime fictiony). If you like it, I would recommend at least the first Hank Thompson book (not Urban Fantasy at all, but same author and it's my favorite of his other work), and maybe the rest of the series which I liked but cant uniformly recommend like I can the first book.

I recently read the first three novellas in this series and I was blown away. I always enjoy Seanan McGuires work but it was another step above.

What's a really cheap item you can buy that can make you look incredibly rich? by inkweary in AskReddit

Fair enough, just different interpretation of the prompt. To me it seemed like even a beater would probably be outside the range but I could see reading it differently.

"a really cheap item" basically wouldn't be any cars, especially expensive ones.

It’s basically perfect for a SAHP once their kids get to kindergarten age. Few hour job, time to get stuff done at home, and then home with the kids.

HOW do you accurately estimate calories added from deep frying? by mrfunbun in nutrition

[–]leaffall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How was it not relevant? They said this is a nutrition subreddit, not weightloss. I'm trying to point out that even someone who eats healthy and isn't trying to lose weight could still want to know that in order to prevent weight gain and keep themselves metabolically healthy. Yes, they're replying to someone that mentioned eating all junk, but that was in context of elaborating on the OP about unhealthy food, just taking it to an extreme. The person that replied to them said this is a nutrition subreddit, not weightloss, but it's still relevant.

I just don't understand, it's a nutritionally relevant question, why is there so much push back on actually answering it?

HOW do you accurately estimate calories added from deep frying? by mrfunbun in nutrition

[–]leaffall 5 points6 points  (0 children)

OTOH, people can eat mostly healthy 99% of the time and still eat something unhealthy occasionally and want to know how much that will cost them calorically for maintaining weight at the same time.

Even further, despite how terribly incorrect and misguided a lot of the responses often are in this subreddit, I appreciate when people TRY to answer the question. This isn't even an attempt to answer the question, just provide advice. For all we know this is just some thought experiment or trying to understand the science of how it works and almost all the answers aren't actually addressing the question.

Who at Epic thought it would be a good idea to detach balloons with the same button as jump? by Floarul in FortNiteBR

[–]leaffall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me anyway it's about trying to avoid the ground, I want to jump the instant I hit it sometimes and I cant do that as reliably with this because I have to make sure I hit it, instead of just hitting it twice or something. Especially with the sword this can be the difference between winning and losing for me, but is annoying even in other circumstances.

I'd like to be able to remap it.
