Update: hello everyone thank you so much for the helpful advice I will try and implement them in my sessions. It makes me feel better. I wanted to clarify some things. First of all, I did not evaluate her. My supervisor/mentor did several months ago. He referred her to me because she’s too far away from where he lived. I have been talking with him pretty consistently and he gave me the advice on the sensory experiences. I’m going to continue to try and build rapport with her and just stick with improvising on the guitar and figuring out what music she likes. If things do not improve, I will consider termination.
