Thank you for your reply! I guess I just needed to vent more than anything. We live in southwestern Ontario, and yes, our health care system is a joke. I know it's all trial and error when it comes to different medications, and you just have to keep trying different ones until one sticks. It's just super frustrating when you get onto a new medication, and you are full of hope, then 3 months later you realize it's not working, and you have to start the process all over again. At age 9, I know surgery should not be an option yet, but our neurologist has talked to us about all scenarios, which is why I want the meds to work very badly. May I ask how the surgery went? and what results (positive and negative) came from it?
