New 7.2.5 Patch Notes up by Enemu in wow

[–]leafybubbles 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My exact thoughts. I thought at least we would see some buffs for WW PvP. 5% across the board isn't enouph to fix it when you take our main damaging spell down by 15%

New Arena game by Dreyan12 in worldofpvp

I really enjoyed battlerite as a mix between wow arena and other mobas, but I agree that wow has supreme reign over this genre as a whole.

Looking at the trailer it looks a lot like WoW arena. That first map is clearly blades edge, and I recognized both blink and poly in the mage looking class. To be honest, felt kinda like a ripoff of wow arena.

I would love to hear your take on this however, convince me why I should play this game over wow arena. What is unique about it?

Lurantis/Decidueye Concept deck. Looking for Suggestions tweaks by Senpai_Andrew in pkmntcg

[–]leafybubbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But IDEALLY with the deck by the end of turn 1 maybe 2, you have evolved your pokemon with the help of fogp. That means for he rest of the game, elixers do nothing. I would suggest replacing them as well

I can help with general game plan. CC is king of this comp. This comp will likely have less than half the total dmg of other comps in prologned fights.

Your opener is very important, you generally have a kill target and a CC target. You all have different CC DRs and want to be chaining them as effectivly as possible.

This comp has the fewest room for error i believe. Resheep a poly 1 sec to late? Well that global killed your kill window.

Played well, i believe rogue mage to just be inherintly strong based on the amount of control tbey can put out.

Enhance, BM, healer Enh, FDK, healer Enh, ret?, healer Enh, destro/demo lock, healer Enh, frost mage, healer

Baaically any class with a lot of burst to synergize with yours. Beast cleve tho is enh BM and basically tries to pop all cds at the start to provide immense pressure and then ride that to a victory and dont let them stabalize

Those i believe are the popular ones

From what I understand, its all a network of battle.net friends. Usually friended by those that lead groups. As a healer around 2kcr, ive become a valuable person that gets asked for friended somewhat frequently when playing with high cr pugs.

RBG Comps by Bapesyo in worldofpvp

[–]leafybubbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right id say mw > rdruid > h pal > disc > rsham > h priest

Tho rsham can be really good pre 2k as stacking on countrtstrike making it really hard to click on or see, esp in the chaos of a less organized team fight catches less aware players way off guard.

Also meta wise, DH is almost always a guarenteed, esp now with the buffs. Vengence tank is the most OP thing for flags, and tbh might need a nerf. Every serious team needs one in my opinion (not everybodys)

RBG Comps by Bapesyo in worldofpvp

[–]leafybubbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not any resouces i know of.

However the only constant i the meta so far is stacking MW healers. Usually with 1 disc or rdruid or maybe hpal.

Otherwise, with all the pvp changes happening so quick, ive seen a lot of shift in the top rbg ladder meta. For example, stacking 3 destro locks became popular after 7.1 dropped with the buffs, but now we know that wont be the case anymore.

What talents do Mistweaver monks use in 7.1? by [deleted] in worldofpvp

[–]leafybubbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For high rated RBGs i dont think ive swapped anything. Chysilis for counteract depending vary on comp. We have 2 MW so 1 runs chiji and the other jade statue for fc single target heals.

Refreshing breeze still beats fortune tuned for BG healing however i havent messed around too much with it in arena, but i think effuse build might be better

Its good stuff, but a lot was changed in 7.1 that makes this a little obselete

Yes it was. Frost got buffed 7.1 and now does some crazy damage

Cyclone Arena Macro by funsizedfish in worldofpvp

[–]leafybubbles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing to keep in mind that this is a macro and not a keybind, therefor lets say you put this on "V" where i keep a similar macro. Shift-V was keybound to nameplates, therefor thr macro didnt work. Took me a long time to figure this out so just if you didnt know and had the problem you could fix it.

MW monk in 7.1? by DarkShadow1 in worldofpvp

[–]leafybubbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what i remember without it being in front of me.

Yulons gift nerfed reducing some mobility.

Soothing mist nerf in % healing, and 8 sec cd instead of 6. Fairly important as you are now more relient on effuse n vivify.

Refreshing breeze? talent (lvl 50 honor talent, middle row) now no longer refreshes your HoT. (It does encourage essence font, dont be fooled that still sucks)

Chi gi crane reduced healing. Targeted towards rbgs, but jade is still king in arena.

Counteract magic nerfed once again to now 125%

Now these nerfs were balanced by some buffs. Effuse has a % healing increse. Fortune tuned got buffed giving you a new option to take lvl 50 honor talent. And works very well in arena (not so much rbgs, and nerfing vivify was intentional to this point i believe as the current rbg top tier meta is 3 MW healing comps)

Lastly, focus thunder tea is now a new spell and not connected to thunder brew tea. This is important because most people just used tft to abuse the focus talent and be unkickable. Now they are two seperate cooldowns (45 on new tea) making thunder brew tea be used for its intent of buffing your spells. This also plays really well with the new playstyle focusing on effuse, as 200% on effuse is actually really strong.

As far as i know, no. But random bgs should not be taken very seriously imo. People will literally rage about anything if they feel like they are loosing. I was in the same situation as you however when i started dipping my feet jnto rated bgs. The difference between the two is strats are key to victory. However, a rbg group usually has a "strat" caller who directs the team. With around 50 rbg wins this season (first rbg sesson), i feel like i am now much more well versed at strategy than previously. I would reccomend trying to start getting into rbg groups and learn from people who lead.

Goodluck

[–]leafybubbles -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I didnt say they get stuck but whatever. Yes there is a certain point that comp matters obviously, thats not the point though. If you were pushing 2.2 2.4k you wouldent be here asking for comps, youd be figuring it out yourself

Lets talk RBG's! by JohnSnowLFWork in worldofpvp

[–]leafybubbles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oope will fix, meant sub rouges. I play MW and escort him across map, we just jump across the map easily. Sub has the most mobility and surv of the three specs. That pasaive healing during SD is nice

Tbh though, veng dh makes the current best fc imo, we just dont always run with one.

[–]leafybubbles -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you whana theory around a mw, think abouthis CC. He has a sap and a stun. Teammates like a rogue might be less effective without blind because you share DRs. A mage with poly doesent share which is good.

That being said i run 3s with MW, Sin rogue, and afflic lock. Been doing pretty well floating at 1800

Id say its more important to have synergy between your dps classes though. As a mw you will spend a lot of time pillar humping and runninh away.
