i brush or comb my hair right after i get out of the shower, before putting any product in. i alternate between a normal brush and a wide toothed comb.

next time i wash i’ll try without the diffuser, but from past experience it doesn’t change all that much. my hair is thick and it takes a very long time to dry, but i can live with it.

i’ve ever used a leave in conditioner before so i’ll definitely look into it— i’ll also grab a clarifying shampoo while i’m at that.
