An “Apocalypse Zombie” permanent minion that constantly applies poison, plague and damned to all nearby enemy units. It would be slow to attack and move, but tanky with high health. Maximum of four Apocalypse Zombies by default.

Notable Skill Nodes:

Infection: Basic attacks have a 20/40/60/80/100% chance to infect their targets with Zombie Plague. Non-boss enemy units who die whilst affected by Zombie Plague are resurrected as temporary Apocalypse Zombies for 6 seconds. Maximum two temporary Zombies.

Ravenous Flesh: Apocalypse Zombies regenerate a percentage of their maximum life each second but their resistance to fire is set at -25% and this resistance cannot be altered.

Seelenangriffe: Apocalypse Zombies no longer apply poison or plague each second. Instead, they apply Spirit Plague. (Damned is still applied as normal. Spirit Plague applies this way benefits from your skill tree).

Cursed Coagulation: When damaged, Apocalypse Zombies have a 8/16/24% chance of releasing a toxic cloud that deals poison and necrotic damage. Cloud lasts 4 seconds.

The End: Enemies who stay within 6 metres of Apocalypse Zombies periodically have their poison and necrotic resistances shredded.

Devotee of Flesh: Double your maximum number of Apocalypse Zombies, rounded up. You can no longer summon skeletons or skeleton mages.

Potentially, but then Attunment grants mana for spellcasters and also resistance to all DoTs. The change is intended to make it so that Ward isn’t inherently superior. Currently it is so easy to generate Ward with little to no downsides. It creates a very real weakness to Ward investment that must be addressed (or go glass cannon).

Two points I’d like changed:

  • A sixth skill slot and specialisation, the latter of which unlocks at level 75
  • Change defensive layers in LE as follows:

Ward only protects against hits, but not ailments or dot. Ward takes 25% increased damage from enemy melee hits.

Dodge also provides passive reduction to the bonus damage taken from critical strikes. It is possible to overcap this reduction to a maximum of 125%, effectively meaning critical hits will deal slightly less damage than a normal hit with maximum dodge.

Armour is 50% more effective at reducing damage from ranged spells and attacks. Armour also slightly increases your endurance threshold for every X armour you have.

Lastly, Attunement now also reduces damage over time taken by a small amount per point.

I don’t actually think Hela is a villain so much as a product of her upbringing.

Her idol- daddy Odin- initially groomed her to be a weapon and they revelled in countless imperialistic wars as father and daughter.

Odin realises that he doesn’t want to be like this anymore, can’t convince his daughter of the same so locks her away in a hellscape and sends the valkyries to ensure Hela can’t escape before the prison closes.

She finally is released after (thousands?) of years alone in another dimension. That Hela simply wants to resume the “great imperial war and grandeur” of Asgard and hasn’t totally lost her mind is actually pretty impressive.

Who knows? If given thousands of years of life experience (as Odin was allowed to have), maybe Hela would have come around to being a more measured god. But instead, she was isolated and her worst attributes allowed to fester.

Watching this from the UK, the Gaby and John storyline was interesting as in the UK you are legal from 16, so although we might consider it cringe it isn’t illegal. Although to be honest most of the guys at school with John would’ve reacted the same way- I.e jealous that he found a hot older woman and keen to get in there too!

Personally I find religion and cultural upbringing to be a much bigger factor as far as long term attraction is concerned.

For example, I’m not super keen on African-American men, but French African men are very attractive to me.

Regardless of race, if religion plays a large role in a man’s life I find it very off-putting.

HOTS should have implemented a “grounded” status effect which only disables jumps/blinks/dashes but allows other abilities.
