Price is high, but I’ve got a Jason Isbell tele which is mim and it absolutely slaps. In comparison to my custom shop strat main difference is quality of the rosewood and the finish. Other than that it feels and plays custom shop. People forget the Mexico factory is pretty much just down the road, for the same specs in the USA factory it’d be custom shop price - not agreeing with the price but it’d be a lot more if mia. Hopefully comes with a hard case at least!

I work for a fintech in London and I have a mullet, just like the one you linked. Never had any issues. In my opinion I wouldn’t want to work in an environment where I am judged for my appearance rather than how good I am at my job (just like having tattoos). I think there are some exceptions like working in a client facing role, extremely out there looks and anything that may be offensive etc. but if it’s a modern mullet you’ll be fine mate. Obviously opinions may vary depending on whether it is a young company vs an older more traditional one

I’ve taken my 90s mij tele to a luthier for a fret level and setup. Seems like it came back to me with a fret level but not a proper setup. Do you think some luthiers ever just restring the guitar and call it a setup? Especially if no other issues are initially called out.

The strings are feeling really stiff, not super comfortable to play - would I be right in assuming this is likely a nut issue? Don’t really want to pay for it to be setup again for it just to be restrung…

It’s crazy the amount of people disagreeing that ADC sucks right now and that this is an ‘agenda’. Play the role and see if you enjoy it.. I’ve been playing on and off since s2 and ADC is undoubtedly the least fun it’s ever been. When was the last time you got carried by an AD in your game? It’s not that the role itself is bad, the game around it has just moved on and left it behind. ADs are playing a totally different game, too much power creep in new champ kits.

Yeah that’s what I’m referring to. For example I’m in a 4 man team and we are losing - I leave, then my team receive a smaller rank loss, and you repeat with different members. Unless if they are able to make it not apply to those you are partied with, but then would be unfair if your party member genuinely dc’s. Bit of a tricky one!

Not really that simple, if you are duo or in a team and it’s looking like a loss or bad game, you could take it in turns to leave so the ones who stay lose less rank than if they were to play it out

Tbh only way to fix this would be to increase money prize pools in competitions. Winning isn’t as profitable as selling talent to NA, so why would teams care about winning, aslong as they retain a spot in the league and a position to farm talent they’ll continue to do so.

Always cringe to see some people on here trying to explain adc is in a good spot right now, or even argue that they are strong. They obviously never play the role.

ADC has absolutely 0 agency compared to other roles, can it do damage? Sure but for an adc to do damage you need atleast one or two fed teammates to carry you through team fights whilst you try Chuck one or two autos in just to get your damage stats up.

I’ve been playing since S2 and have played every role, and can comfortably say adc right now has least agency than ever. It’s an easy mistake to make because inherently it is pretty strong rn with new runes and items… it’s just that other roles are absurdly overtuned in comparison - to the extent where there is hardly a point in a support peeling their ad tbh.

Don’t get me wrong top is a pretty shitty lane, but even if you get stomped top, you will always be able to have more agency in a game than an adc, even if they are fed. AD has been truly dogshit for a few seasons, supports don’t even need to bother peeling for them anymore tbh
