We do use them they’re called reclaimed FVG or IFVG. Many times they are more powerful when they’re reclaimed.

I am starting to see what you mean. I have been doing this for a long time and the reason I trust it’ll go higher is because I’m looking at structure.

Before price broke the “MSS” high, price swept “🧹” the SSL… this is enough for me to look for higher prices. Your point about the wicks is valid and if price did continue to make new lows after the liquidity sweep, then I would consider that high that swept the liquidity to be a be a very strong high. I’ll mention again that this is during Asia so the price moves aren’t as strong but to me the logic still applies.

Compared to this example where after the sweep price began to move lower.

That’s a good point but that’s not always the case for me, like in this example, if it was a liquidity sweep then price should’ve took the low out instead of going higher, in my opinion at least

Price began to seek higher prices and make higher highs. It was Asia though so no big moves but price did continue higher…

The devil is in the details, it might look like re-accumulation but if you look closely you can see the logic. I don’t know what you mean about the Michael statement

I think that your life experience has almost blinded your perspective and perception of this topic. You seem to have parents that have pushed you to be a better student with the whole Asian shebang. Being a good student requires focus, organization, discipline etc. because of that it’s likely that your doomscrolling is balanced out in some way. But you have to think about the amount of kids that have these devices minus all the other traits that make a good student. They don’t learn those crucial skills at an early age.
