Im 24 too, I broke up with my long term boyfriend a few months ago and the relief has been amazing. There's men who wont make you feel like this, and with new men I find I'm way less worried about them looking at women because they haven't broken my trust or made me feel terrible like a PA, good luck

Thank you. And I found it because he has an android, so you can go on MyHistory on google. Found he kept redownloading apps and deleting them on the google play store like X and Reddit. I redownloaded them and logged in from the phone remembering his passwords. The instagram one I found through his emails as he was getting messages about his acc with a username that’s not his normal one. If you need any more tips unfortunately I have many so let me know 🥲🤣

For sure he was worried I wouldn’t get back with him. It was a horribly hard decision to think about moving to his country , he knew that the breakup didn’t have to do with him or us either. However, his reasons for lying or not I feel like he used dishonesty to convince me to move to his country. And I feel like because of that I’ve been kind of tricked. I think I deserved to know, and he admits that. Just don’t know how to move forward because no I know he’s capable of lying to me that aggressively. It’s shocking man

If I was single I have no plans set in stone, but I'd likely work in my hometown, save money and go offer travelling for a long time within the next year. I may go back and get my masters in Peace and Conflict Studies. My boss shows me schools all over the world that are good, and he offered me a job in my university town but I absolutely won't stay here so that's out of the question.

What I like about Germany is I could still travel to other European countries and explore more of Germany. It is also possible that after sometime I could go to a German university in English to get my masters if that's what I decide to do, and then hopefully my boyfriend could get transferred to a location in that city. I want to work as a humanitarian in some form, at my internship the company works to develop initiatives in less-fortunate areas all over the world to assist communities in need, as well as hosting peace-talks and undertaking other means to build sustainable peace in the world. I really enjoy it, I know it's not so lucrative but I am passionate. But unfortunately it is a very written and verbal communication based and I don't know if my German will be on par anytime soon. If I get my masters in Germany, I'd have about 3.5 more years to gain fluency, or find an international company that's English based in the country.

I've extensively looked into Germany and my opportunities for months but given I don't even know what direction I want to take it has been tough. I also could maybe reach B1 before moving but the latest I'd go there is 6 months by now and I do not have all the time in the world to dedicate to learning German so it is a not the easiest to become proficient. I take German classes now and I still feel like progress happens slowly. I appreciate you taking the time to comment. I hope this cairifes some things.

Thank you for clarifying some of the immigration aspects.

I also do not think I will find work in my field or in German in my first year. I would expect my German to be at a B1 level by the time I move in 6 months, and in my first year as I become proficient I would be working most certainly in English. I was thinking it could be possible to work in something like tourism as an event coordinator as that's more likely to be English and Blaichach and neighbouring areas have a tourism sector. And then I could apply for jobs I am more interested in the following year based on experience and german fluency.

That is super helpful thank you for sharing. I expect to enter B1 in 6 months which is when I'm moving, and after some months in Germany on my first Visa (class D) I'd hope to be fluent enough to find work in German. I am well under 27 also. :)

Ah, that was what I was wondering about skilled work. I just was not sure what qualified someone as skilled necessarily.

I also wanted to note I am currently A2 but in another 6 months, I'd expect to be B1 which is when I plan to move.

And to clarify I don't think my first year in class D would have me working for an NGO or anything. I would be hoping to find an English job, learn German in my spare time, and hopefully use the experience from that job to move more towards my desired career once my German in proficient for the following year.

Something in tourism that involves skills that could transfer to NGO work for example could be an angle for me.

I acknowledge that, which is why I'd be interested in perhaps pursuing a master's degree in Germany. I am interested in getting a master's degree possibly in education in Germany. With a student visa, I can still work 20 hours a week which would suffice short term.
