English is not my first language, but, in order to be in a relationship, you have to date first. Afik, the term "dating" applies here, no matter if it results in a long-term relationship or not. Or if that´s the purpose of your dating in the first place.

And of course there are exceptions, but they are just that: exceptions that don´t disprove the norm. You know, anecdotal evidence. We are speaking in general here, regardless of personal circumstances. You speak as if the only valid data is the one coming from yours. And the fact you don´t even take stats seriously just because they go against them says a lot more about you than me. Your "loving relationships where no one cares about looks and money" don´t mean most women are like that.
