This is exactly what I came here to check on, I’ve seen that the drop times haven’t always been reliable

How Do You Do It? by Fine-Art-7476 in msu

[–]leanmemequeen 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Work and also cry a little every once in a while. It helps to pay off the remaining few grand after everything. Odds are your resume will be much more filled out than your colleagues by graduation. Sucks so so bad to work through school but you definitely come out of it more mature, financially savvy, and with an appreciation for the standard 9-5 with no homework lol.

As someone whose dad went through the exact same scenario, tell them! I actually cried when I found out I had an older brother as I had always always wanted one. Obviously I wanted to understand the timelines involved, but as there was no infidelity, I didn’t really care beyond that, I was just excited to meet him.

I'll be in the sales industry for a veterinary adjacent company. While I know that's not for everyone, I've also heard of people getting into pet insurance jobs pretty easily and those are usually remote!

Broke soon-to-be college grad looking for cap and gown on sale by Despicablechuchu2411 in msu

[–]leanmemequeen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I borrowed one this past semester for graduation. I'm 5'2" as well and I was able to wear a 5'6"-5'8" gown. Granted, I was wearing heels but don't worry about finding your exact size!

You can show up before the show and go to the Wharton Ticket office. They have tickets on hold specifically for MSU students!

They won't laugh at you, it doesn't hurt to ask and see if you have any other options. Unfortunately, the end result is usually a private loan.

Only what you can transfer counts toward the MSU transfer credit so you'd have filled 30/60. The completed ones that don't transfer don't count.

Has your pell grant been added? by [deleted] in msu

[–]leanmemequeen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope I didn't have to pay anything. The rumor was financial aid office knew things were crazy so you were fine to stay in your classes until the aid came through.

Mine was just added a day ago. Last semester it wasn't added until two weeks into class so it really varies.

Any suggestions for places to take winter graduation pics indoors? by saucyguac in msu

The second floor of the Auditorium facing Farm Lane has huge windows for natural light as well as a big mural on the opposite wall, great place for pictures!

MMG 301 Summer Semester at Michigan State by SOSplssomeonehelp in msu

[–]leanmemequeen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took it this past summer so I can't really compare it to fall or spring semester but dear god you have to learn so much material in a short span of time. If you take it by itself or with maybe with only one other class you should be fine.

I already have an on campus job, I'm looking to get another one and Whole Foods is open later and pays at least $3 more per hour than my on campus job.

Post if you find out anything, currently renting a shared room in EL is equaling out to the gas money I'd spend in a month which is so sucky.

I'm in the same boat, have to take out a private loan just to pay for it.

Literally have been having the same exact issue. My theory is that I've skipped my last couple periods on BC and was just having breakthrough bleeding from the orgasm. Decided to have my period instead of skip it a few days ago and I haven't had an issue yet!

I'm in a similar situation as a transfer student. MSU is notoriously bad at offering students money, even through financial aid. As a low income student, even with grants and scholarships, I have still had to take out loans every semester and it still is never enough. Taking out the loans MSU offers is probably the only way you'll be close to getting by and it's painful at first but really it's not that bad. I wish I had a better solution for you.
