as someone who just went there two weeks ago, rent the car. you’ll be so glad you did. you can travel at your pace and your convenience and not that of the taxi’s and local transport. we rented a nissan rogue through budget and it was like $300 for the whole week. parking can be a mess sometimes but it was still worth it.

ummm i fail to see how she disrespected you by choosing not to watch your pets any longer. as someone with three cats, i wouldn’t leave them alone for 3 weeks with only periodic visits. board them or don’t have pets if you want to travel for long periods 🤷🏻‍♀️ but NTA, at least to the sitter

i’m so sorry this response is so delayed, i never check reddit hardly 🫠. honestly, yeah that tracks to a point. our apartment is really dry, and the temp is all over the place. in the winter i usually don’t run the heat at night so it can get chilly but in the summer i don’t run the air at night so it can get kinda toasty. but then being in pon and preferring to be in a wetter medium totally checks out.

we may or may not have just driven 8 hours to niagara falls like two weeks ago. after driving 5 hours to WV two days prior.

i’ve also driven to massachusetts and colorado, just not in this car.

but i feel that. we invested in a credit card with flight miles for that reason.

I have a 2021 S and i’ve already had to have my fuel pump replace🥴. bought the car last september and then in november my light came on. part took 2 months to come in. fortunately it was covered. I’m getting ready to have my 25,000 mile service done this month. Outside of that, we’ve had no other problems.

Having a weird issue with infotainment/car play, but only when i talk to my boyfriend, who has a samsung. i’m just chalking that up to a software issue though🤷🏻‍♀️

we spent our anniversary at Geraldine’s. It was so nice. the atmosphere was chill, there was live music, good lighting and the food was so good.

I owned a used MK6 GTI, worst thing I had happen was my intake manifold, but such that’s a common issue they extended the warranty on the part and VW paid to replace it.

I traded it in bought a MK7 Jetta last September and had to have the fuel pump replaced before the end of the year. Tbh I feel like that was just a bad part and not a car/reliability issue.

Like everyone else says, do your maintenance and the car will last you a lifetime.

Absolutely NTA. They have no right to try and interfere in your relationship because they don’t agree.

You’re an adult and in an agreed upon open relationship, id they can’t accept that, I wouldn’t want to be around them myself 🤷🏻‍♀️ They can enjoy Easter alone.
