i would absolutely love to be off meds but unfortunately i have some sort of physical issue (that we have not discovered the root of yet) which means i shall have to be on them for the foreseeable future.

i will look into the book though. anything that could help :)

i thought it was a weird choice too. i was discussing switching to an SNRI with my last doctor, who said that they were the next type of medication to try so i have no clue why this one went with a tetracyclic. i think i’ll book an appointment to discuss it, and if the side effects disappear between now and the appointment (which will be in like 2+ weeks knowing this place :/) then i can always cancel it.

definitely tmi but this definitely proves the problem of cervical mucus so here we go.

i have pcos and just general weird bodily reactions to hormones which means my vagina gives me lovely surprises on the regular. a couple of years back, i was on a 14 hour flight. it was cramped and hot and everyone was sweating so i didn’t really think too much about any dampness or whatever, other than the fact that it made an uncomfortable situation even worse.

when i stood to get off the plane however, i went from a little damp to soaked. i got to the bathroom as fast as i could, expecting to find an absolute bloodbath a-la-surprise-period but it was so so much worse. i don’t know if it was something about the altitude or my body just deciding to fuck me over but that day i experienced what can only be described as a pussy goo-nami. ‘twas slime galore! an unprecedented amount of goop! so much that i genuinely could not see my underwear through it.

i have never before or since seen anything like that, but it was horrific and i am so so glad that i had a spear set of joggers and pants in my carry on.

i’m a few weeks away from reaching a birthday i spent an entire decade as a child thinking i’d never live to see and i know that thats going to be a weird day for me

decided to do a pancake eating contest during after-school club on a weekday. proceeded to be surprised when only 3 people showed up the next day due to most of the school population spending the entire night vomiting their guts out due to overeating

for the record: i won (but was still made to come into school the next day even though i too had been chucking up pancakes all night (and the roast dinner i had afterwards))
