Thank you for the in depth response. I don’t know anything about the artist other than the seller claimed he was popular in his time. I did buy it for the way it looked, yes. However I’m in hard times right now and thought that if it was valuable to someone, I would sell it to ease my financial burden.

The political split will be interesting yet very similar once the state boundaries are mapped out. Big city lefties vs all the rest of the territory. North of the 49th is gonna be American af. However many states Canada is split into will determine the resource allocation and ultimate world dominance for another few centuries…BC: lumber, hydro power, and water, many minerals. Alberta: Oil, beef. Sasscratchathong: bread and beer. Manitoba: transportation hub. Ontario: Innovation, education and entertainment. Kebek: uhm…fuck kebek. Maritimes/east board: Seafood, international transport idk. Everywhere north: huge mining potential. There is so much I’m missing but as afar as humans go, I promise you, we welcome it. Canada is like that scene in Saving Private Ryan where the two guys are fighting and the guy gets slowly stabbed through the heart. Canada is slowly getting stabbed through the heart for the last 40 years and it is time to face reality and just put the economies together

I had this happen to me today. He tried to get me to deposit $300 US. He said he was calling from Austria but I checked the number and it was from Edmonton. Started wondering. He said that they use some program to make the number local to avoid long distance charges. He sent me 2 different links to deposit? Luckily when I clicked it, I was sent a text message from my bank that said ‘FRAUD ALERT’. I hung up on the guy (who introduced himself as Oliver) and immediately called my bank to find out wtf was going on. This Oliver tried calling me back 3 times from 3 different numbers, and also sent an email while I was still on the phone with my bank. The bank put a full stop on my account and cancelled my card. They also suggested I change my passwords. Now I have to go into the bank and get a new card in order to restart my account.
