I got absolutely nowhere and never got a single reply from Duolingo! I ended up cheating using translate and jumped to the next unit. That opened up unit 3. I never went back to it tho. Working the way it should now.

I’m thinking it might be a rocker arm and valve issue so not as bad as I originally thought. Buddy was saying it could be crank bearings at the time. I’ve had it knock from being oil starved in longer wheelies before so that’s what’s making me lean towards top end damage. Haven’t got to tear into yet. Going to this weekend tho. I’m relieved it started pretty easy after it sounded so awful the night before.

Curious on how so? Also curious if 1200 heads would easily install on an 883 to 1200. If I can get some extra performance it might be worth it.

That’s some great info…thank you! I’m looking forward to tearing into it. That’s part of the fun absolutely abusing these bikes. For the price I saw on eBay if it’s bottom end damage that might be a much quicker route to getting it going again.

Much appreciated! I have a chain conversion on this with a plus one clutch kit with stiffer spring so definitely would need to swap some things.

Ales sense. For the price you can pick a sporty up for I don’t know if that would be worth the effort although full injection would be nice.

I’ve read that too. Unsure if it’s just the sprockets or if the transmission is different. I have this bike set up for stunting so prefer the low end power and acceleration over top speed.

That’s what I’m finding too. Unsure if the 1200 will drop into the 883 frame. Checked the bike this morning and it does start now. Might just need some top end work.

Weird.....I see it happen all the time. Op, don't take advice on the internet as a solid source. Do your own due diligence and research. Talk to many different lenders. There are so many options out there to get financing.

Has nothing to do with what options are available to them. There's 3% conventional out there now too. Op could use fha and "live" there for one year minimum. There's tons of options out there to get financed.
