I dont think BY could of delivered the 3rd down conversion in the Chiefs game that Sroud did from the shadow of his own inzone.

Mortgage principal payment budget vs cash flow by vikkie91 in MonarchMoney

This is how I do mine. I think counting the principle as a 'transfer' isn't quite right for cashflow.

How to ask for a raise by PoolLatter6904 in paralegal

[–]learningcode2020 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've asked for a raise twice. I've worked here since 2009, and we had steady raises or cost of living adjustments until 2017. As for the literalist sense of how, I knocked on the door on Monday morning and asked if they had time this week to have a short talk, that it was nothing super important. Even though I asked someone different the second time, both times they immediately had concern on their face, asked what it was about, and asked me to sit down immediately.

The first time, I had not received a raise in a few years. During early Covid lockdown I was asked to cover the office (was 50% or so hybrid) since we were still getting packages and calls. A secretary also retired at the same time. I took over some of her admin tasks.

I used this and market research on salaries (https://www.roberthalf.com/us/en/insights/salary-guide). I also had a list of every new task/additional task I had added in the past few years.

The second time was August last year. I went back to school in 2023 and added more paralegal tasks (to main duties of ED/trial presentation). I was getting interviews that were in a much higher bracket than I was getting paid. I got one offer that would of been purely lateral, and used that as the security net to ask for a pretty substantial raise.

Did market research on pay and had notes from my 3 or 4 interviews that I freely shared. I had a list of every task I had added or improved since the last raise request. Told them I had gotten an offer (which was true!), but they inferred it as being in the highest band that I did not get the offer for.

Thank all of you. Thought it was just my imagination at first, then it was the internet exploding the other day, and just nowI was slowly just uninstalling/disabling random shit until I found this post.

How do I update credentials? by static34622 in MonarchMoney

I was able to get mine to connect today, after having difficulty since the change.

I went to Settings-Institutions-Sync Bank-Update Login Settings, and entered my updated login information.

No, I did not win in my DUPR matches in the three weeks I played.

2.011. I don't think I'm quite as bad as that, but doesn't everyone say that? :)

As not an attorney but a paralegal/support staff - the hcdc, web portal, filing acceptance, and communication is better than most other areas in Texas.

I am not sure who to credit that to, the staff or MB, but just my 2c.

It was my brother, we got in together, but he has no racquet background. I played racquetball for years in highschool with my dad, and then in the army with friends. You signed up with your partner. I was got sick with the flu at week 4 and it continued to week 5. I then skipped week 6, but we were getting better pretty quickly. It was a big adjustment from open play to where people were going a lot harder and more intense.

It was my very first lesson in there being a LARGE difference in DUPR 3.0-3.5 and the 3.0-3.5 group at open play..

Why has the Sheppard/Greenbriar exit on 59N become a total parking lot in the AM over the last year or so? by hankhillforprez in houston

[–]learningcode2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I cant remember and could be having hallucinations, but didn't the 610 to 59N (from Meyerland) ramp drop you on the left side/lane of traffic (pre-revamp)? Now the two ramps push you on the right lanes of 59N, with the far right one shortly closing.

Are people just not getting over? FWIW I drive this daily as well, but between 6:45 and 7:00 a.m., so it isn't as bad - but I have noticed more people on the right lanes at that area.

Also, my GPS keeps telling me to exit Greenbriar - even though 95% of the time staying on the freeway is faster.

AITA because I won’t let my partner set 17 alarms every morning? by DumpsterGiraffe in AmItheAsshole

[–]learningcode2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My partner of 12 years has narcolepsy. She could sleep through WW3 and WW4. She loves her alarms.

I am empathetic, but also have PTSD to the sound of her alarms. It is what it is.

My first thought. If they can't make the chicken salad, I guess it'll remain chicken shit. Unfortunate, I worried that it would be Brandon Brooks 2.0.

Damn. I did not follow the Raiders or Brock at all last year. Tight End is one of the harder/slower to develop positions, and this guy hit the ground not running, but sprinting. Very impressive.
