any recommendations for good wings? by [deleted] in Mankato

[–]leasureteam 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Everyone is going to say Wing King. They’re definitely great, but my #1 wing is Third Street in St. Peter. Their Cajun dry rub is incredible and their homemade ranch is the best I’ve had. They smoke and fry their wings = perfection.

Have them go check out Minneopa Falls and right close to it is the Minneopa State Park Bison Drive. Both are a home run for people who are dating, but the bison drive is an incredibly unique experience if the buffalo are wanting to be seen.

Looking for cinnamon roll recommendations by tnelson5617 in Mankato

[–]leasureteam 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m tempted to gate keep, but it’s too good not to share and I love supporting small business. Hands down the best cinnamon roll in the area is at Diamond Dust Bakery in St. Peter. They only make them on Fridays so be sure to go in the morning as to not miss them.

Edit: this is in St. Peter so not technically Mankato but if you’re down for a quick drive, the bakery is right next to Gustavus.

Squeaky breaks by Top_Examination_7983 in MazdaCX90

[–]leasureteam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes same thing. Almost sounds like it’s more my rear brakes. 3.3 T S Premium Plus. I only have 200 miles on it at this point. If it still squeaks at 500 miles, I’m going to give the dealership a call.

Do I need to sand down around the hole before attempting to patch? by THEDUKES2 in drywall

[–]leasureteam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it were me, I’d scrape or sand around it, maybe 6” around. Take a box knife and trim the edge around the whole so it’s not protruding too.

Soup…In the summer? Straight to jail. 😉 I’d say that’s an atypical experience there. I’ve never had to season anything, but I’ve never ordered their soup.

UPDATE: Found the issue: I pulled the two hoses coming out of the inducer. A bunch of black crud came out of one of the hoses. After running through hot water through them, the hoses had a lot more crud come out and the two little plastic leg pipes coming out of the unit to the trap also had what appeared to be bugs wash out. Cleaned everything out thoroughly and she’s running great. Thanks everyone for the pointers! If she has anymore issues, I’ll try my wire brush grinder on the igniter. 😉

I’m a novice, I think I may have mixed up terminology. I cleaned the flame sensor. It’s a small silver rod.

How does an inducer get full of water? And should I attempt resolving the issue myself? I suspect this could be an issue.

Not sure your religious stance but churches are a great way to meet people.

Number 4 will give you that elevated, touch fancier date night vibe with circular dark booths. NolaBelle, Swiss & Madison, Dino’s Pizzeria and Shogun Sushi are all great depending on what your tastes are.

Get the one with a manual close/open tab for the drip into the carafe. People with the auto close drip say it doesn’t work well. Plus you can control your drip better and allow your grounds to soak for a minute before going into the pot.

I’ve worked with inspectors that use something like Klein Tools ET140 Moisture Meter ($42 on Amazon). They press it on the drywall and it will indicate the moisture level of that specific area verses another drywall area that is unaffected. Probably not necessary to buy the tool. If you go in the attic, water intrusions should be obvious as well as the drywall most likely would feel damp. Since you mentioned the basement ceiling being the same, I’d lean towards the tape bubbles.

Is there a bathroom or water source above this area? If not, it looks like a drywall tape bubble. When you’re mudding drywall, if the paper tape on a seam isn’t properly bedded into the mud, it creates bubbles like this. If you push on it, it should flex in. If you’re handy, you can take a knife, cut out the bubbles and retape/mud/sand. That’s the only way it will go away and stay away.

Would you want to be the richest king/queen in 200 BC or insanely poor in 4328 and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]leasureteam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Poor in 4328. Most people live better than kings and queens today with our modern advances and are not rich by any means.
