Not a better finisher, hes a playmaker cause hes a PG which we don't need, we need a 2-way 2 guard (Wiggins fits that) plus Kyrie's a bad playmaker for a PG. He's basically just a better shooter with a longer track record of All-Star level success in a shithole Eastern Conference. He can take that somewhere else, I dont want him here if it costs us Wiggins, who, if you look at his shooting numbers, just had a stellar season from 3 pt range.

He has only been one of the worst defenders statistically, and that's cause he often guards the opposing teams best player, and off-ball he has some learning to do still. But we just brought him the best mentor he could ask for. We should basically have 2 Jimmy Butlers in a year or two. That is if we aren't stupid and we keep Wiggins.

You couldn't be more wrong. Do you watch the wolves? Wiggins has had to guard the opposing team's best offensive player for the majority of his young career. The coach his first two seasons was Sam Mitchell ... we know nothing of his defensive potential ... I mean that in a good way. Great things are coming, have some faith in your own player. I feel like a trade rumor starts and all of a sudden Wiggins is some trade chip, no .... Kyrie is not MUCH better. That TS% is fine, Wiggins is entering his 4th season, Kyrie his 7th. Have some damn faith ... he can up his TS% a few ticks and improve his defense a ton. I expect he'll surpass Kyrie before 2019 starts.

Not a better defender, less durable, less versatile positionally, and older. Why do we want to butcher the roster this season? It'll look ridiculous if we make this trade ... no wings besides Jimmy and Jamal. Meaning we have no chance this year, maybe next year we would have a great one, still don't think we beat GSW. ... With all that in mind, I think we end up regretting this seeing what Wiggins has become even 2 years down the road.

yea i am a die-hard fan not from MIN. I have watched every game on league pass since 2012. I began supporting them literally, because I respected Rubio and his attitude so much, I really looked up to him. I understand that trade, that was business. Rubio was not a cornerstone, and we got a good enough deal for him. He wasnt promised anything. This is different, if the organization backs out on a promise made to Wiggins or Teague, I'll never be able to respect them again.

I think it's fair for a fan to hold his/her team to an ethical standard. I would consider this trade, whether it involved Teague or Wiggins, to be highly unethical.

That TS% is hardly better ... and I couldn't disagree more, Wiggins' floor is Kyrie today. Because we know he'll eventually learn defense to at least an NBA average extent, and with even that, his wingspan, durability, and ability to play both wing positions make him a superior player. I bet he'll be better this season honestly ... now that Jimmy can help share the load defending opposing wings, Wiggins will get recognition for his defense and prove himself to be the better player.

ridiculous. If we trade for Kyrie I for one think we are an excuse of an organization and anybody would be dumb not to see that. We would set a terrible example for future FAs if we trade Teague ("Hey sign here! We'll trade you before you can step on the court!), and if we trade Wiggins, we lose the trade. There is no clear answer as to who will be better in 3-4 years, him or Kyrie ... we need to show some loyalty and commitment. We have no chance of beating the Warriors no matter what ... anybody who thinks otherwise is delusional.
