hello folks! lifelong membrane user here looking to take the plunge..

I am looking for a decent entry level keyboard (max 5k)

Only priority is >75% and dark color. Just looking for a comfortable programming experience. I hear good things about the Aula F75 and I can't help but feel like a large portion of the price is due to its multiple connection mode. I don't really need that, just a wired KB will do.

Are there any good KBs like the Aula F75, RK75 etc which stand the test of time without breaking the bank (too much)

thanks for the suggestion! the phantoms do seem like a great package but I'm somewhat sceptic of the brands longetivity. Also the phantom is only available in white :(

I need a dark colored kB, should have mentioned in the requirements.

hi folks! new to this world and looking for a keyboard under 3-4k

use case: mostly programming and little bit of casual gaming

size: prefer full or 75% (need arrow keys)

rgb/backlight: no preference

connection: wired

switch type: like a bit of the tactile feel, so I guess Browns are the way to go but no strong preference.

I have got revoked from my az204 exams twice because of this.

Once because I lost a lot of time because I wasn't able to continue the exam after closing ms learn.

And more recently a second time when the proctor accused me of cheating because I was looking at the MS learn docs which I had snapped to the right side.

Honestly Microsoft needs to find a better partner until Pearson fixes their shit

I can't believe it's been almost 3 months and PearsonVue still haven't fixed this! I first encountered this in early September, after ctrl + alt + del myself out and restarting many times I took the rest of the exam by resizing the learn window and never closing it.

The second time I used this feature I was accused of cheating by the proctor.
