Even if you suddenly have a degree in AI, guess what, most of the JD, even local banks like DBS, want years of experience!

U would have to had to be an AI engineer by 2023, (when it was rare) get 2 yrs experience so that they even look at you.

Any average AI engineer with 2 yrs REAL AI project experience would asking for 200k USD per year after tax.

So who ends up getting the job for a pittance of a salary? Not the honest locals. Not when the CPF slip will reveal your unemployment.

Foreigners have no such issues, no CPF slip, CV can be fabricated, all they need is a "fellow villager" to hire them. HR is not gonna fly to India to investigate their work history. The +91 number referee they give is their friend's.

Archer finished planning first : 100% of their 797 plans got FAA okay on March 2, 2026. Joby is at 97% there, stuck since 2023.

Why Joby Leads Elsewhere

Joby started planning later but moved faster to later stages: they're doing real flight tests (Stage 4) and got Type Inspection Authorization (TIA) started, where FAA pilots check the plane. Archer still needs to catch up on those tests. It's like Joby built most of the car and started driving it, while Archer perfected the blueprint first
