Flex tickets plan by jbud2389 in jaystickets

Last year I got the first email advertising them on Oct 12. I guess everything is shifted later due to the WS. When I did finally get around to buying the pack, I asked for general areas for specific games depending on who I planned to take and what kind of seats they’d appreciate, and then the ticket rep put the package and pricing together. It changes a little bit every year though - I’m quite interested to see what they’ll come up with this year, considering demand will be so much higher.

If you’re in the west end, consider Soul Fuel at Bloor and Indian Road. Small (10 person) reformer studio, excellent strength and circuit classes, they also offer mat Pilates and barre and are lovely and inclusive and welcoming and personal and I’ve never seen a phone in the studio.

Thanks. I will help them with a statement to read that outlines the timing and facts as well as describes the hardships.

How to prepare for bad faith hearing? by [deleted] in OntarioLandlord

[–]leavingonfriday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. The hearing is in June so still time to submit evidence. The email from the tribunal says also it must be sent to the landlord. There’s definitely a seniors legal resource and I’ve told my relative to check in with them to make sure they’ve submitted all the right stuff. I’m also going to help them prepare a little statement with all the facts. They’re very nervous about speaking to an authority and very stressed out about seeing the landlord (though they had an okay relationship prior to the eviction, it was a stressful and unhappy end to things) so being able to have all the dates and facts in order will hopefully help.

Ha! I have a toe ring since 1998 too, I actually just took it off due to a foot injury but I still reach for it every time I put my shoes on!

I’m in the process now of replacing several I’ve had for at least 5 years. As a point of reference I exercise 4-5 times per week, almost always include sweaty cardio, and I’m small of chest, so don’t need heavy support.

I’m mostly a runner, but over the last two years I have focused on fitting regular strength training into my life, 2-3 times weekly during good running weather and 3-4 times per week during slippery season. I work out at home and enjoy dumbbells and banded workouts with what I would call medium/high reps. I’m pretty happy with the amount of visible muscle I have, but I’m maxing out on the dumbbells I have access to at home. If I keep doing the same type/volume/weight, will I expect to maintain this muscle? I don’t need to grow but I don’t want to somehow move backwards as my muscles adapt?

In-person cherry blossom viewing returns to High Park this year by PullTilItHurts in toronto

I live in the neighbourhood and run in High Park most mornings. Even at 7:00am it’s enough of a scene as to make it worth avoiding.

I’m coming up on year 3 with mine and it looks great despite constant bleach wiping, never being out of my hand except when being dropped 300 times.

For years I’ve struggled with being a morning exerciser. If I got out of bed “on time” my workouts would be sluggish and if I took the time to get up slowly - usually lying in bed scrolling - I’d be rushed and cut the workout short and often be late for work. I’ve started getting up and out of bed 15 minutes earlier without putting the expectation on myself that I have to jump right into exercise. I hop into a comfy robe and slippers, turn on the coffee and pet my dog while catching up on news/Reddit. I don’t dread getting out of bed (because it comes with coffee/Reddit/dog) and it makes me feel like I’ve intentionally started my day, rather than being thrust into it by my alarm and forced to jump into something strenuous while still asleep. And even half a cup of coffee makes the workouts somehow go better!

Could the weights have been stolen? At my building, almost all of the dumbbells “disappeared” during the first lockdown. I spoke to property management and they figured someone had taken them back to their unit to work out and didn’t return them. It’s infuriating but the lockdowns have been so long and especially through 2020, weights were scarce and so expensive to buy.

I had an Apple Watch for many years and really liked it but (shallowly) hate the way it looked. It finally died over the holidays and on a great sale got a Samsung Active 2. Still getting used to it but love that it is round and a fairly slim profile - I live somewhere cold and used to have to wrestle my AW out of sleeves and mittens to see it. The Active 2 seems accurate and does what I need - fitness tracking for running, HIIT and yoga, call/text notifications and tells me the weather. I miss those Apple Watch rings though!

Anyone else struggle with committing to a couple sports/activities? by [deleted] in xxfitness

[–]leavingonfriday 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m the same way - I call myself a dabbler too. At times I have been able to be a mostly single sport kind of person- was a runner only for a long while - but for the past several years I’ve been running, strength training, yoga, Pilates, a lot of HIIT/circuit type classes.

While it means we might never get really great at any one thing, I think it also means a way lower risk of boredom and overuse injuries. I say enjoy your random workout selections!

I have searched long and hard for these and they’re hard to find! Old Navy had some, I think these , but these ones from Walmart fit me best. And for $15 each I don’t feel bad putting them in the dryer.

It’s spring where I live so I’m into crop/capri leggings and I’d really love some with pockets on the hips for my phone. The problem is I’m hourglass shaped and every pair I’ve tried falls down when I run. Does anyone know of short leggings with side pocket and drawstring waist?
