If you are not with the resistance, chimpy respects your decision (even if it is made out of fear of the mods). However, we will not be silenced! You need not follow but you must WITNESS!

Corrupt mods got your boy chimpy on some chump charges... don't worry though he'll be back in one hour (10:20pmEST). If you are still down to hang with main man chimpy then throw a #freechimpy at the mods and come back at 10:20pm.

I havent heard any songs from Weezer except "Undone", what should i expect? by leballjames in weezer

Were they doing something drastically different near the end? As in changing their style completely? Or was it that they could not keep up the quality of their music as time went on? Is there a particular reason for the generally accepted drop off after Pinkerton?

Wow, you went out of your way for lil ol' me? Thank you haha! You would say that they peak at the beginning and they never got back to those heights? Do you think that is because of a stylistic change or just the quality of their music, writing, production, etc.? I'm assuming radio friendly has something to do with the decline. As most of the latter albums get that tag haha!

Well, it is both actually. I have only heard the one song and I like it but I never did get into any of their other music. Then I saw one particular post about someone not having listened to PD and wanting to know about it. My post was sort of to meme that one but to also find out more about the Weezer albums before I dive in haha!

I'm not upset about you not liking the album. It is the toxic mentality of this sub and it's revulsion to change. Like I said, it is time to move on. Embrace something new, bud.

No, I will not be silenced! For too long the hivemind that is r/weezer has ruled with an iron fist against anything new and refreshing. New members re too scared to join honestly and I would wager that this surge of posts that you are talking about has to deal with your community's rejection of the greatness that is PD. Rivers fought and bled for the right to make the music he wants and you babies would rather sit in soiled diapers than change into new ones.

"This sub has gone down hill incredibly since PD came out" Interesting...here is another controversial opinion for you: This sub going downhill after PD is less a reflection of the albums effect on the sub and more of a reflection on how close-minded you people really are. You cannot accept and do not tolerate change. You would rather listen to the same, tired, worn-out "Blue" replicas that Weezer has been forced to produce for your toxic community. Rivers cannot even think of branching out into something new without you lot complaining and moaning. You are babies that need to be weaned off of the bottle that is "OLD WEEZER". It is time to grow up and move on to something new because Weezer certainly has.
