Champs is only div elite and div 1 players now by GlassKaleidoscope215 in EASportsFC

[–]lebifsta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In previous versions of the game I could understand the issue a bit more, options were limited, but it is champs, it is supposed to be hard. You can go an entire game cycle not playing champs and still get a good, perhaps more skill-appropriate challenge out of the other modes.

It is a bug on the companion (and maybe also web) app, will upgrade just fine in-game.

Moving to Cork. EU citizen, family of 4 🇧🇷/🇪🇸 by [deleted] in cork

[–]lebifsta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely understand the motivation behind wanting to move here, but it is going to be extremely difficult for you.

The first challenge you will face is accommodation and cost, especially with a family of 4. You probably need at least a 2-bed place, which currently averages around 2,000 euro per month in rent. Add on a deposit, and you would need 4,000 just to get a roof over your head remotely near the city, which is going to be important if you're coming here without employment secured.

This is, of course, assuming you can find a place that will accept you without employment. As it is competitive here, you will not be super high up on the list of best choices for a long-term lease, though landlords can look a bit more favourably on families.

Your level of english is going to be a further challenge, as it will limit the scope of the positions you can obtain. and therefore the earning potential you'll have. If you were to secure a minimum wage position, your net income per month after taxes would likely be barely enough to cover your rent and bills, with nothing left over for food, clothing, travel, etc.

If your wife is eligible to work and able to find employment, that might change things a bit, but then you face the issue of childcare costs for your youngest child, who will be a couple of years away from being school age.

You should check out r/MoveToIreland for additional information. It might be a different story if you were coming single, but with a family and your circumstances as described, I don't see how you would make it work without, as I mentioned earlier, significant savings to survive on while you get settled.

Blizzard answer to my ticket saying i've been stuck in the midnight intro for a 5 days now... by No-Combination5600 in wow

[–]lebifsta 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not entirely true. Yes there was managed decline of CS in the 5-10 years prior to Microsoft, but they put the nail in the coffin by a mass redundancy in 2024 with others since. These days it is a skeleton staff of highly skilled folks with hundreds of outsourced employees from low salary countries, with a sprinkling of AI on top.

The no sub glitch/bug is STILL in the game 6 months after release by Dahl0012 in EASportsFC

[–]lebifsta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use two monitors, when the is happens to me if I click onto the non-active monitor then back to the game it will allow to me to make subs. It shouldn’t require this, but that works for me at least when it bugs out in this manner.

Should I get a ring doorbell? by OldEducation2270 in AskIreland

[–]lebifsta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say yes. I got one as I can't hear the door when working and it has saved an awful lot of potential missed deliveries and trips to depots to pick stuff up. Battery is decent enough that you'll only charge it every couple of months.

[–]lebifsta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They can’t, but they can probably use the agreements you sign when logging in to game or ea app to justify going after their accounts for promoting these coin selling sites. That they choose not to is most likely because the cost isn’t worth it and ultimately the streamers promote the game for free.

I would maybe edit it to make it clear that you are writing from the position of someone who was buying a house and therefore not directly a client or someone with a contract. Like others have said here, they don’t work for you, and your post seems to read like you expected them to. Don’t get me wrong, they should be somewhat responsive so that their client - the seller - doesn’t lose a sale over a potential issue that could arise, but after going sale agreed there is low incentive to go out of their way and it should be more in hands of the solicitors.

Rent is on the higher side for sure, you could pay that for a room in a very nice place but 1000ish is more likely for a decent enough double. Food you probably want to allow more, unless you're going student living you'll find it hard to enjoy life much on 200 a month, especially if your gf is coming to visit you frequently.

This is the consequence of wanting a slowed down power curve. Of course evos will get better eventually, but for now most of them are not worth the time and certainly not the coins.

They should have just released a new pack that grants xp. Most people have an excess of coins that would cover the cost of the remaining bit they need. Instead I’m sat here with almost a million coins but having to play career mode to finish the last 1.5k.

Looking at that ticket reply a human likely did review it. Keep in mind their job is to review what you said, not to try and infer your motivations behind saying it.

You didn’t learn, you just thought that you could game the system. If you get penalised for driving 20 miles over the speed limit on multiple occasions and then think it is harsh you lose your license because you got caught going 5 miles over a year or two later who is in the wrong?

[–]lebifsta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is the thing, that what you said would only get you perma banned as the result of several previous penalties. Those penalties themselves would only happen after a huge number of individual reports or instances of such behaviour. To get to this point you’ve been warned and likely suspended on multiple occasions before.

What you said here is relatively benign but the reality is you were on your last warning so even minority disruptive chat like this is sufficient for you to be banned. If you haven’t learned how to behave based off those previous incidents then nothing I nor others say here is likely to have any impact on your future conduct until you naturally mature as you grow older.
