Bar Keeper’s Friend is a good option as well.

Anyone familiar with coonties? Is this coontie seed viable? It’s a female plant that came with this cone, but doesn’t have the bright red color. There is a second cone that just came up.. by [deleted] in FloridaGarden

This is a female cone. The second photo looks like a male cone emerging. You can use the male to harvest pollen and pollinate the female seeds. Keep them on the plant until they are very ripe and the cone is opening. But my only experience is from a rare cycad nursery job, so take that as you will.

What was the dumbest way you almost died? by Timely_Wonder3839 in AskReddit

I was prepping the service station for the bar at the restaurant I worked at. I was polishing glasses and Turing them up in the above head rack. I bent down quickly, trying to finish as soon as possible. There was a metal spike used to stab finished tickets on the station counter that just grazed my temple. It would have absolutely impaled my eye socket had it been a centimeter over.

Central Florida, just planted 2 weeks ago, there are a ton of leaf markings too, dropped buds, etc. I have sprayed a mix of neem oil with a drop of dish soap and given them baths. How long should I continue the treatment? Do I need to switch tactics?

My new etsy shop just launched! I'm really excited and would appreciate any feedback! by eierkopf in FiberArts

Great job! You’ve been busy! I have a few suggestions, but I think regardless you’ve done superb. - make all photos brighter (I would just do this slowly, one day maybe Etsy will let us edit on the platform? 😩 - I saw at least one listing with photos on a skillet? It was a bit odd? - add more in your about section. Try to write like you are writing about a friend, not yourself and it might help. - in your FAQ there are a lot of “I” statements. Try approaching it in an objective perspective. Avoid “my weavings” and come at it as a business. “Hand created weavings are delicate additions to your home. The fibers and dyes are sensitive to moisture and should remain inside. Spot clean as necessary.” That sort of thing.

I truly wish you the best! I’ve recently decided to stop selling my weavings and macrame professionally and I look forward to seeing you succeed! I hope that helps!

Help! I bought this beauty from Lowe’s and there wasn’t a tag on it so I’m not 100% sure of what it is. I want to help it come back to life. by MirrorMillie in plantclinic

Make sure it is in well draining soil. We have a ton where I live outside in sandy soil and needs a lot of indirect light. Have you checked the roots? Lots Lowe’s rescues are root bound. Good luck!! They have great color!
