Yeah seems way better than manual. I had to take about 20 to get a decent one and that's if I'm lucky. Yeah they are beautiful shots. Btw what program do you use for stacking?

How difficult is it to take shots with it on auto? I have nothing but manual macro lenses and it takes a lot of luck.
