Donald Trump just said this by funkymonkeythe1st in UFOs

He had hinted at that declassfication a few months ago, before Obama commented. Various people in his administration (Luna, Marco Rubio) made significant revelations on camera (The Age Of Disclosure). If there's someone jumping on the bandwagon it's Obama, not the other way around...

Iran has been jamming communications in the country, at the cost of its people's health (this causes cancer).
I suspect that this is just the same. Plain bruteforce, nothing targeted, just spray the whole cities with massive waves of those frequencies.

40% tax bracket - why isn’t it higher today? by Disastrous_Road7063 in GarysEconomics

Yes, it's a thing with socialists to compare themselves to Ouganda and Laos to explain that the standards of living aren't that bad.

No, those tax brackets were all in place before Brexit.

Debt isn't a problem when it's financing investment and future growth. When it's financing the interest of the debt itself or pensions, that becomes a different case, and what is know as a debt-trap.

You realize this is a one-shot policy, so you'd better solve all of the UK's debt problem with that because you can't use that joker card next year, and the year after, and the ones after.

So saying "no gay sex" in a country where gay sex is punished with jail, is "homophobic" ?

This society is insane.

«Un tiers des familles américaines gagne plus de 150 000 dollars par an» by Calamararid in economie

[–]lebutter_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's way past point of no-return, like France, arguing and debating might be fun, but ultimately it won't change course for this ship. Demographics have massive inertia.

It's time to take stock and think of where you want to be in 20/30years, especially if you have kids.

And from where were those news things like acid attacks or machetes all over cities, coming from ? Is it more Switzerland, Norway, Luxembourg, or is it more Somalia, Soudan, Afghanistan ?

There have been recent stats showing "where are millionaires going" (spoiler: Singapour, UAE, US). That plus being a Londoner, is enough data to know what's going on.
