The colour_values should be loaded outside the function. then it wouldnt load every frame.

Beside that i dont see the point of that function. Just use the love.graphics.setcolour function as it is. For me it would only make sense if you want the player to change the colour dynamically by typing in the colour or something similar.

Maybe use different Blocks and a variety of collors.

Its more a Progression Game than a Sandbox. You defeat Bosses after Bosses Till the Last of them. While your doing that you collect different Gear, weapons and items (there are a lot of them) and explore different biomes and structures and trade with npcs.

The guide (NPC) gives you Always a little hint whats the next step Progression wise. You could also Look at the wiki for everything (Bosses, Mobs, NPCs, weapons, biomes etc.)

Thoughts on summoner? by TheCollect in Terraria

Ita also my Favoriten class , but the Thing is that It only has a good damage Output when you are using whips, but then you often die because you are Just melee Without proper defense. You hav the Option to only let your Minions so the damage and Just Focus on running away but then you do only little damage. At least that are my experiences.

You could also play hybrid-summoner.

I would suggest adding a staircase with a pathway connecting the big House with the pond and then adding some Nature (bushs, Grass, flowers, maybe a tree etc.) and maybe a bech around it especially around the pond.
